Excuse me, 1922-1944, why not hold a party congress?
Party congresses are held every year from 1922 to 1928. After the Sixth National Congress of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Party's National Congress failed to be held as scheduled for a long historical period. There is an interval of 1945 between the seventh party congress and the sixth party congress. Because the Central Committee and the Red Army were busy crushing the five "encirclement and suppression" campaigns of the Kuomintang and carrying out the Long March, they had no time to take care of the preparations for the Seventh National Congress.
