Published more than 50 SCI papers on sustainable paving materials 10, with more than 2,600 citations by SCI, nearly 5,000 academic citations by Google, and applied for many patents10.

Professor Xiao has served as deputy editor, invited editor, consultant editor and executive editor of several internationally renowned SCI journals of civil engineering materials, and is a peer reviewer of several SCI journals related to civil engineering materials and internationally renowned conference papers.
