Self-regulation of Teachers' Mental Health: Freshmen's Mental Health Papers in 2000
Teachers' mental health directly affects education and teaching, and indirectly affects the healthy development of students' body and mind. How to take measures to maintain teachers' mental health, how to help teachers adjust their mentality, how to make teachers feel a sense of accomplishment in their work and how to make teachers feel happy in their lives are major and realistic issues facing the construction of primary and secondary school teachers.

First, the significance of teachers' mental health

1. Teachers' mental health is the premise of students' mental health. Teachers' mental health is not only a personal matter, but also directly affects students' mental health level. Teachers are important figures in students' minds and a model of students' identity. Teachers can play the most subtle role in the daily contact between teachers and students. Moreover, teachers with mental health can influence students through the teaching process and make students' psychology develop healthily. Teachers' unhealthy psychology can not correctly understand students' behaviors, let alone skillfully deal with students' problems, which may affect the relationship between teachers and students and may hurt students' hearts. Therefore, in order to better educate students, teachers themselves must first be mentally healthy people.

2. Teachers' mental health directly affects the level of teachers' professional development. Teachers' mental health affects teachers' teaching efficiency and quality, as well as their enthusiasm, initiative and creativity. An excellent teacher not only needs rich professional knowledge and skillful teaching skills, but also needs a sound personality and a healthy mental state. Teachers' mental health is a very important but easily overlooked problem. Therefore, maintaining and improving teachers' mental health is of great significance in school management.

3. Teachers' mental health is the need of their healthy life. The average daily workload of primary and secondary school teachers is large, the personality psychology of modern primary and secondary school students is becoming more and more complicated, and the intergenerational conflict between teachers and students is becoming more and more serious, which increases the psychological pressure of teachers. If teachers are not good at self-regulation, but transfer their inner unhappiness, physical and mental fatigue, tension and anxiety to students, and impose improper educational behavior on students, which will bring psychological harm to students, it will be the biggest mistake of educators. Therefore, in the new era, teachers must have good professional psychological quality, strengthen their own mental health education, adjust their mentality, and master the methods and skills of psychological adjustment; Always reflect on your education and teaching behavior, eliminate your bad psychological behavior in time, and always keep yourself in a positive, optimistic, upward, peaceful, stable and healthy state; With a high sense of responsibility, rational teacher's love, rich emotion and sound personality, he devoted himself to the cause of education and teaching and truly became an "engineer of human soul".

Second, the current poor mental health of teachers is the main performance

A survey conducted by the mental health education group of primary and secondary schools in China shows that 5 1.23% of teachers have psychological problems, of which 32. 18% belong to "mild psychological disorder", 16.56% belong to "moderate psychological disorder" and 2.49% have constituted "mental illness". To this end, we also conducted a special survey on the mental health of teachers in our school, and found that the current poor mental health of teachers is mainly manifested in the following aspects:

1. Physical illness. In recent years, the school has carried out routine physical examination for teachers, which mainly reflects some teachers' physical discomfort, including cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and respiratory system discomfort, headache, backache, muscle soreness and other anxious physical manifestations. Especially pharyngitis, cervical spondylosis, stomach diseases and other diseases are threatening the health of teachers.

2. Mental depression. Some teachers often feel depressed, uninterested in life, lacking motivation, losing vitality, disappointment and pessimism. Heavy teaching tasks and difficult student management make most teachers exhausted. Some teachers can't communicate with others, so they sit down and sleep in their spare time.

3. Sensitive interpersonal relationships. Some teachers are uneasy and have a sense of inferiority, especially when compared with others. In interpersonal communication, it is characterized by inferiority, anxiety, obvious discomfort, and excessive self-protection consciousness or passive waiting in interpersonal communication.

4. Hostile consciousness. Specific manifestations include often feeling bored, throwing things, and like to argue with others until the temper is out of control.

5. Anxiety. Some teachers occasionally experience subjective anxiety such as irritability, anxiety, nervousness, and the resulting physical manifestations, such as shortness of breath, sweating, frequent urination, insomnia, trembling, panic and so on.

Third, strengthen the self-regulation of teachers' mental health.

There are many reasons for teachers' psychological problems. For example, students' poor learning attitude, coping with various inspections and appraisals of schools and education departments, teachers' low social status, too many non-teaching meetings and routine work, and lack of fairness in school management ... Faced with all kinds of bad performances of teachers' mental health, the author thinks that teachers' mental health problems should be comprehensively treated, especially from the following aspects, so as to strengthen the self-regulation of teachers' mental health and improve their mental health level.

1. Position yourself reasonably and have a more practical view of yourself. People's abilities are different. In a unit, there are always some teachers who are smart, diligent and conscientious, and have made certain achievements both in themselves and in classroom teaching. Although some teachers work hard, they may not get any good grades; What's more, it's ironic to measure and pull a cart and deal with it passively at work. In this case, teachers are required to give themselves a reasonable position, examine their position among colleagues, and don't see themselves clearly and see through others. If a teacher can position himself reasonably, he will be less vain and more pragmatic; Less narrow, more broad.

2. Cultivate good hobbies and relieve your psychological pressure in time. Good hobbies can give people a positive life experience and cultivate people's noble taste; Good hobbies can cultivate temperament, improve cultural accomplishment, contribute to mental and psychological health, and contribute to the success of the cause; Good hobbies bring people entertainment, friendship, knowledge and health. After work, if you can devote yourself wholeheartedly to your hobbies, you will greatly ease your pressure at work and forget your troubles at work. Therefore, we should actively broaden and cultivate our hobbies, such as playing ball, reading, playing chess, calligraphy, drawing, playing ball, pulling ball, playing ball and singing. Through these interest activities, you can relax yourself and cultivate your positive and optimistic attitude towards life.

3. Actively communicate and be good at grooming your own psychological emotions. If you can't say clearly, you can't say clearly. In a unit, especially a relatively large unit, there will always be some unpleasant things between a person and his colleagues and leaders. Some of these things are misunderstandings, some are misinformation, some are even provoked by good people, and some are caused by improper handling of work problems. For some teachers who are often sad, it is easy to accumulate in their hearts for a long time, causing depression and depression; For those grumpy teachers, it is easy to produce contradictions, which will bring many negative effects on feelings, psychology and work.

At work, in getting along with colleagues, we should treat everything and every problem objectively, fairly and peacefully. Communicate actively on the basis of mutual respect and understanding, and explain things thoroughly. On the one hand, we can clarify the facts, so as not to hurt our feelings because of misunderstanding, on the other hand, we can reduce the major issues to minor ones through communication. Through communication, both sides can get rid of psychological and emotional barriers and get a positive and happy emotional experience.

In a word, the adjustment of teachers' mental health is beneficial to teachers' own physical and mental health, the development of teachers' professional level, the unity of teachers' families and the improvement of teachers' moral image. The adjustment of teachers' mental health is beneficial to students' physical and mental health and their all-round development; The adjustment of teachers' mental health is conducive to the unity of school teachers, the relationship between cadres and the masses, the construction of a harmonious campus and the development of school connotation.
