Because, today, my parents will cook good food for me and take me to the gym to participate in various activities of the Torch Festival in the evening. The Torch Festival of most ethnic groups is held on June 24th of the lunar calendar. Our main activities in Jingdong County are jumping three feet and scattering torches. People of the older generation say that Torch Festival has a legend! Once upon a time, Avanti, a good god, stole heaven and scattered grain, which made people's happy life exceed the sky. The gods were furious and sent Hercules to the ground to vent their anger. Doaya hated Hercules for being overbearing, wrestled with him, threw Hercules to the ground and made a hole. Later, the rain in the sky merged into a long blue lake (Southern Shandong Freshwater Lake). In order to commemorate this human hero, people hold bullfighting, wrestling, slaughtering sheep, burning torches and other activities on the 24th day of the lunar calendar to show their mourning. As night fell, I dragged my parents to the gymnasium, which was already crowded and very lively. People wore their favorite clothes, and the whole family happily came to the gymnasium to celebrate the Torch Festival. I saw the grandfathers and grandmothers who scattered torches danced beautifully, and the grandfathers and grandmothers who stamped their feet three times were dancing, spinning, flashing, blowing and pulling, which was very energetic. It's really interesting! Even the audience outside jumped up involuntarily, so did I. At twelve o'clock in the evening, the whole county was more lively, people set off fireworks one after another, and colorful scenes could be seen everywhere in the sky. I didn't leave the gym until I was tired of playing and wanted to sleep. Torch Festival is really lively. I am looking forward to the annual Torch Festival.
