Open the installation directory ug 8.0 \ mach \ resource \ template _ part \ metric (all template files are here).

Create a part, adjust the required machining methods and tools, and then save it.

After creating the saved parts, enter the UGS \ NX 8.0 \ mach \ resource \ template _ set directory.

Open the first file cam_general with notepad, copy a line of machining methods in it, namely $ {ugii _ cam _ template _ part _ metric _ dir} xxxxx.prt (part xx is the name of the copied machining method and the part to be replaced), put the copied and modified machining methods under two pound numbers, save and restart UG. When entering the machining mode, select Save Template Name to enter the machining mode.
