Since the only known distribution of this fungus is ningshan county, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, the research team named it? Pinctada Ningshan? . According to relevant researchers, Microalgae Ningshan is the seventh known Microalgae in China, and it is also the first discovered Microalgae macrofungi in Qinling area.
