Pulling "Teeth" in the Warm Sun in Winter (35) Barcelona: The Flower of Europe Created by Gaudi (Part Two)
Gaudi's dream world has become a reality here. Countless young people with artistic dreams set foot on this land to pursue their dreams as artists. Whether painting or architecture, there are too many masters here. Historical, modern, and many about to become famous, as long as you have been to Barcelona, no one will question why there are so many artists here. Barcelona brought many people here and never left.

I was deeply attracted by the movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Whether it was the Spanish guitar in the courtyard under the moonlight at night, or all kinds of flowers on Rambla Avenue, from the young men and women who were in love on the painted porcelain benches in Gouel Park, to the flickering light of the sunset across the stone promenade, the romantic and lazy atmosphere was everywhere. So, we started our trip to Barcelona, intending to measure Gaudi's dream world with our steps.

Kissing wall Elmuro del Beso-Palau de la Mú sica Catalana-Arc de Triom-Parque Gü ell-In Gouel Park-Casamila Casamilà-Casa Batlló in Batro.

Barcelona really deserves to be the capital of art, and even next to the cathedral, the works of masters can be seen everywhere. Have you guessed? This is a door with design sense. It is said that it was written by Gaudi.

Not far from the cathedral, there is a tall modern building with glass curtain wall, COAC building of Catalonia Architects Association. The simple murals on the outer wall of the building are particularly eye-catching.

It is said that this simple mural was written by Picasso. But to be honest, I can't understand Picasso's paintings, and I can't see any difference from the paintings of kindergarten children.

It is said that the French are romantic, but after I came to Barcelona, I was infected by the romance of the Spanish. Unlike the French, Spanish romance is more passionate and intense. At the end of an alley behind the architect building, there is a mosaic wall. Seen from a distance, the whole wall is covered with four lips kissing.

From a distance, this wall is where two people are kissing. Their lips are particularly sexy and the kiss is perfect. A closer look reveals that the big pattern of kissing is composed of countless small photos, which are ordinary photos taken by Barcelona citizens every day. This contrast from near to far is very surprising and special.

This wall was built to commemorate the Battle of Barcelona in 17 14. The artist collected photos from the public and finally made this wall with 4,800 different pink photos. The romance of Barcelona people is very special. The way to commemorate the war is not a monument to heroes, but a kissing wall.

We continued to stroll in the old city. Not far away, an interesting face sculpture stands by the roadside. It is carved from a flat stone and called "a head". Using people's optical illusion, it looks like a three-dimensional head from a distance. What interests me most is that he is dragging a big braid.

In the alley behind the "opening", I accidentally saw a small dome with Arabic customs and rushed over involuntarily. What a beautiful building!

Palau de la Música Catalana, the music hall of Catalonia, was built in 1905- 1908, which is one of the shocking modernist buildings in Barcelona.

The outer wall of the Music Palace is decorated with group sculptures based on folk songs, including traditional Catalan elements and Arabic elements, which are colorful and eye-catching.

This is the masterpiece of Gaudi's teacher, modernist architect Mundane, a modernist masterpiece with a history of 100 years.

It is hard to imagine that such an architectural treasure is hidden in an alley in a very crowded block in the old city of Barcelona. The narrow driveway in front of the Music Palace can only accommodate one car, and it is difficult to get a full picture of it even with a wide angle.

The bottom floor of the Music Palace is an arcade supported by huge columns, with bright colors such as red, yellow, green and sky blue as the main colors, and the crown badge is carved on the top of the colonnade in the middle.

The pillars are densely covered with colorful flower patterns made of mosaics.

The round hole surrounded by mosaic patterns on the colonnade is actually the ticket window of the Music Palace, which is very cute and quite childlike.

If you want to visit this magical concert hall, you can only take seven tours from 9: 00- 15: 30 every day from Monday to Friday, and follow the prescribed route under the guidance of the official commentator. The languages are Catalan, Spanish, French, English and Italian, which are changed every half hour, with English as the most.

Unfortunately, the day we went was Sunday, and there was no visiting group. If we want to go in, we can only buy tickets for the evening show. We have to give up reluctantly.

The main entrance of the Music Palace is a slightly curved square arch made of red bricks, decorated with relief, colorful and exquisite.

Columns covered with mosaic puzzles, huge group carvings and bright and exquisite murals make the whole building look like flowers.

The second floor of the Music Palace is a semi-open balcony with a row of Aquarius column guardrails, which is very beautiful. The upper end of the style supports three peacock-screen balconies. Mosaic puzzles and paintings can be seen everywhere, and the whole building is like a delicate work of art.

Color sculptures and ceramic mosaics are the most prominent features here. There are 14 styles on the balcony on the second floor, and each style is decorated with different flower patterns composed of mosaics.

The top of the column is decorated with a flower-shaped stigma, such as a blooming flower. It is said that there are 3000 roses hidden here, scattered on the roof, wall posts and glass, just like a performer's secret garden.

Busts of three great composers, Wagner, Bach and Beethoven, are hung outside the balcony on the third floor.

On the third terrace, there is a modern song and dance theme mural made up of mosaics, which suddenly reminds me that it used to be the base camp of Barcelona choir.

We tried to lean back and try to take the whole music hall into the lens. On a pillar at the intersection of the two facades of the concert hall, a group of large reliefs based on Catalan folk songs and fables are strikingly carved. This group of sculptures broke through the limitation of narrow terrain, emphasized the existence of the main entrance and highlighted the beauty and elegance of the facade of the music hall.

The red brick facade, style, relief, painting and mosaic collage not only collide and interweave visually, but also combine the architectural style of Spanish elements and Arabic elements, which also makes the whole building a unique work of art.

The coffee shop in the entrance hall is the only place where you can enter the music hall for free. The ceiling in the hall is luxuriously decorated, but the columns made of red bricks are so simple and pure.

Coffee shop is the meeting place and dissolution place for visitors. Compared with the external decoration, the decoration of the coffee shop in the concert hall is much more exquisite and colorful: marble columns, ceilings decorated with exquisite mosaic stickers and geometric relief graphics, colorful large glass partitions and antique classical lamp posts. ...

Besides coffee, there are some delicious snacks for people to kill time while waiting for a visit or a concert.

Seeing the pillars full of flowers again, it seems that we walked into a coffee shop full of flowers in an instant.

Four Cats Cafe is located deep in a narrow alley nearby. It is a gathering place for many artists and intellectuals. Picasso, Dali, Miro and Gaudi are all frequent visitors here. Picasso also made posters for four cats, which later became the cover of today's restaurant menu.

In order to enjoy our free time, we decided to arrive at Parque Güell in Gouel Park before evening, passing Parque de la Ciutadella, the largest green lung in Barcelona.

There is a straight avenue between the Castle Park and the Arc de Triomphe, with neat palm trees and unique street lamps on both sides. On the way, we were surprised to find a map of this area painted on the road.

The magnificent building on one side of the street is the Barcelona court.

The Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona, built as the main entrance of the World Expo 1888, is a Moorish revival style building made of solid red bricks. The golden eagle is antique and isolated, so it looks particularly eye-catching and spectacular.

All the sculptures on the Arc de Triomphe are white, in sharp contrast to the red of the main body. The front lintel is engraved with "Republic of Barcelona" (Barcelona welcomes all countries); The stone carving on the back lintel is called "retribution"; There are 12 female statues in the Arc de Triomphe, representing honor and prestige. The top is decorated with the provincial emblems of 49 other Spanish provinces.

In Europe, many cities have their own Arc de Triomphe, but the Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona is rigorous and romantic, especially the red Arc de Triomphe is rare and unique.

The Arc de Triomphe in Barcelona is more magnificent than the Arc de Triomphe in Constantinople in Rome. Near evening, the area around the Arc de Triomphe in Castle Park is a good place for running and walking.

After a bus ride, we finally arrived at Gouel Park. Gouel Park is a paradise designed by Gaudi, and I miss it day and night.

Stepping into the gate of the park is like entering another world. On the uneven terrain, Gaudi designed a unique corridor, which was built among the mountains.

Gaudi succeeded in organically combining nature and architecture into a perfect whole, which was made of local uncut brown rocks. The structure is complex, but the style is simple, giving full play to the artistic interest and architectural style.

None of the pillars in the corridor are straight, just like the trunk in the natural forest. Modeling is basically taken from animals and plants, some like elephant legs, some like palm trees, and some are human. The materials of these columns are all local stones, which look rough and simple, but they look like nature.

Gouel Park, an open space facing the sea, is the masterpiece of the master Gaudi. This used to be just a bare hill. During 1900- 19 14, Gaudi splashed ink on this colorless canvas, making this "bare mountain" glow with infinite vitality.

This small pink building, slightly off the main road and hidden in the trees, is now the Gaudi Museum. Although it was designed by Gaudi's apprentice, it fully embodies Gaudi's classic elements. Coupled with the sunset glow that day, it was like a fairy tale world that came to the world.

Along the mountain road, we came to the big platform square, where we saw many benches inlaid with colorful broken porcelain, winding like a dragon dance and undulating waves, forming a poetic artistic conception.

The curved bench made of stone has mosaic fragments on the surface, rich in patterns and details, and has hidden meanings. Here, no matter the form of space or the color of light and shadow, from the whole to the details, it is full of interest and beauty, which surprises people everywhere.

The edge of the big platform is my favorite, and it can be called the longest mobile mosaic bench in the world. Colorful mobile benches not only create a rich visual experience, but also are full of comfort when sitting or lying here.

When you come to Gaudi, you will always be touched inadvertently. Walking on the road here, looking at these colorful colors along the way gives us a visual enjoyment. Walking among them is like walking in a colorful fairy tale world.

Mosaic benches also serve as walls of the square. When we approached the backrest of the winding bench step by step, we couldn't help feeling a pilgrimage. The blue and white cartoon tower comes into view first.

Under the blue and white tower, there is a more cartoon gingerbread house. There is a little red riding hood on the roof, surrounded by many small towers and protrusions, and the round window under the spire is inlaid with Gaudi's iconic cross.

When two doormen suddenly appeared in front of us, we knew that this was the main entrance of Gouel Park.

This concierge is definitely the most beautiful concierge in the world. The concierge is decorated with white wavy ceramics, which is particularly naughty and childlike against the blue sky and green trees. No wonder they are affectionately called "candy houses".

It's like a house out of a fairy tale, like a gingerbread house covered with cream and bright glaze. Seeing this lovely house, I want to open my eyes and walk into this fantastic concierge with the spirit of adventure.

Under the blue-purple sunset, colorful Gouel appeared in front of us, which is not only a miracle created by Gaudi, but also an immortal utopia and a playground dedicated to God!

You will be surprised anywhere here. At the moment, the park is like a fairy tale world that is about to fall asleep, and it is like a giant artwork hanging in the air.

Gaudi uses local materials to integrate architectural sculptures, leisure squares, road corridors, public facilities and natural environment, presenting a beautiful urban space.

It was getting dark, and we looked out greedily and passed through the clouds in Barcelona. Those dense and colorful buildings stand far under the blue sea and blue sky. ...

We have been sitting under the lamp since evening. Visitors here, like us, are reluctant to leave for a long time.

Barcelona is the son of the ocean, and water is an important element in Barcelona's architectural design. Therefore, it is as soft and quiet as the sea against the blue-purple sky.

Reluctantly, we followed the road to a Baizhutang with 86 stone pillars. Such a dense and regular array is like a forest, and the top buildings are spectacular, concave and convex, like a misty ceiling.

The top design of Baizhutang is very beautiful, all decorated with mosaic patterns. Looking up gives people a sense of visual shock.

Below Baizhutang is the famous colorful lizard steps. Here, you can clearly see the exquisite dome at the top of the colonnade, which fluctuates like waves.

This is the most famous colorful lizard fountain in Gouel Park. The fountain is composed of lizards and chameleons, and its surface is made of mosaic tiles, with bright colors and vivid shapes. Every time it rains heavily, lizards and chameleons will spray running water from Baizhutang, which is particularly vivid and lovely.

The chameleon represents the patron saint of Catalonia. What impressed me the most was its four feet, so hard, as if afraid of falling.

The "monitor lizard" representing the symbol of Catalonia.

The low walls on both sides of the steps are winding, and colorful tiles are stuck on the walls, forming strange and inexplicable patterns, like a curved python.

When the lights are completely on, the colorful walls are covered with a warm yellow tulle.

At the beginning of the light, under the warm yellow light, blue and white mushroom towers and candy-like stone houses make people seem to have entered a surreal paradise.

On the outer wall of the park, the words "Gouel Park" were spliced with broken porcelain pieces.

In the night, we walked down the hill step by step along the outer wall of the park.

On the way to the restaurant, we met a super beautiful building on the roadside. Just look at the navigation and you will know that this is Casa Vicens, the famous home of Vinson, and it is Gaudi's first important work. He is only 26 years old.

Vinson's house was built in the 80s of 19. Although it has experienced more than 130 spring, summer, autumn and winter, this privately owned building has always maintained a low-key and mysterious posture, and it is still so full of vitality, like a fashionable girl standing on the streets of Barcelona, looking around and looking at various customs.

Most of the tiles on the exterior wall of Vinson's house are in green and yellow tones, and there are also green and white checkerboard tiles, which are even and beautiful in color.

The decoration design of Vinson's home is mostly presented with yellow-green tiles with marigold patterns. It is said that the marigold is actually a native plant discovered by Gaudi on the construction site of Vinson's home, which really conforms to the character of Master Gaudi, and many of his architectural details like to learn from nature.

From the beginning, Gaudi was greatly inspired by the dense palm trees here. Therefore, the window guardrail of Vinson House is an amazing palm leaf cast iron structure.

The facade of Vinson House is plastered with various tiles and painted with various plants and flowers, which makes people feel full of vitality everywhere.

At the corner, Gaudi broke the simple and boring straight-line intersection of traditional buildings, skillfully used the simple technique of concave-convex stacking of red bricks, and decorated with arched flower windows and tiles, which made the humble facade have rich three-dimensional changes.

This is a Moorish-style building, with a large number of tiles on the exterior wall and very bright colors. When I first saw the colorful Vincent's house, I had a fairy-tale pleasure.

We bid farewell to this fantastic building step by step, and I really want to print every detail of it in my mind.

Not far from Vinson's home, it is a simple and practical Taverna El Glop restaurant that local residents like to patronize. Maybe it's because the whole restaurant is crowded at dinner time, which seems a little noisy and crowded.

I have eaten paella many times, and this time I specially ordered cuttlefish paella. Although the dark one doesn't look good, the cuttlefish paella is fresh and delicious.

Here, cuttlefish paella is almost a must for the table. I looked around and was delighted to see two girls from Taiwan Province Province having a good time. They even showed their dark teeth and took a selfie.

I also ordered a roast pork chop, which was satisfactory without any surprise.

When eating, I checked the navigation and found that the restaurant is less than 1.5km away from Casa Milà, Mila House, and Casa Batlló, Bartolo House. So, we decided to go on foot.

When you come to an intersection, you can see a white building standing on the corner from a distance. The whole wall is like a rough sea, ups and downs, with grotesque chimneys and ventilation pipes standing on the roof. This is another work of Gaudi-Mira House.

Milla House, the last private residence designed by Gaudi, adopts a streamlined structure and inherits Gaudi's weird style. As I approached, I looked up at the undulating roof, as if I were in the ocean.

Wavy appearance, white stone exterior wall, such as weathered rock mass full of holes due to long-term seawater erosion; The rock mass is a black fence made of twisted iron bars, plus wide windows, which makes people think.

This is a grotesque stone house. Its uniqueness lies in the curve design outside the building. Its roof is uneven, its walls are uneven, its doors are strangely designed, and winding curves can be seen everywhere. The whole building is particularly dynamic.

Passing through Gracia Avenue, on the other side of the road, we came across a fairy-tale castle-like building, which is Casa Batlló Lló, an unconventional apartment building, and a representative work of Gaudi's mature creation. Although they are all designed by Gaudi, their styles are quite different. Bright colors and exaggerated shapes seemed to be more popular with the nobles at that time.

Bartholomew House has a history of 100 years and has undergone many renovations. The exterior wall of the whole building is covered with colorful mosaics; The roof looks like a dragon forest, full of magic everywhere.

The exterior wall is decorated with colorful pieces of broken porcelain, which is not only colorful, but also more durable than paint. The balcony fence inspired by shell modeling has a sense of life and is a rare breeze in the machine age.

Soft lighting softens bartholomew's house. Looking up, the glass inlaid with colorful ornaments, the balcony with unique masks and the columns in the shape of bones all enhance the legendary atmosphere.

The balcony of this house looks like an alien's eye patch, which makes me feel cool. The whole building has a dazzling aesthetic feeling, which makes people admire the master's whimsy.

The bracket of the middle window on the second floor is inspired by human bones. Although it looks very creative, it does feel a little scary and crazy in the eyes of ordinary people. Therefore, people call it the bone room.

After nightfall, the full-width color window on the second floor looks like a monster's big mouth, but I don't feel a little ferocious.

This area is called Discordant Blockilla de la Discordia. There are several outstanding century-old buildings here, each with its own characteristics, and their styles are in great contrast, which gives people a strong visual impact.

On the left side of bartholomew apartment is a colorful building decorated with Moorish iron lattice, namely Casa Amatlle, Amaye House.

Amatel's home originally belonged to chocolate tycoon Anthony Amatel. Under the light, the shiny stepped gables are decorated with beautiful pink patterns, which makes me feel like pieces of beautifully packaged traditional chocolate.

Today, the ground floor has been transformed into a very chic cafe Faborit, and Amateye chocolate, the oldest chocolate in Spain, is sold on the counter at a very affordable price.

The complex embossed flower windows are particularly eye-catching and make the whole building more beautiful.

Casa Lleó Morera, the house of lions and mulberry trees at the corner, was founded in 1864 and rebuilt in 1902. Different from many buildings at that time, it was not named after the owner, but after the lion and mulberry in the decorative pattern. Now the ground floor is Loewe's flagship store.

The house of the lion and the mulberry belongs to the same architect as the Catalonia Concert Hall. He is especially good at using floral ornaments and various flowers and plants to make his appearance bright and full of fresh girlish atmosphere.

Tiles with flower handles, reliefs and stained glass are all exquisite and elegant, which fully shows the elegant demeanor of Mundaner as "the architect of flowers".

Like all the ancient cultural cities with a long history in the world, Barcelona is also the cradle of genius and inspiration, freedom and creation, and even known as the "Mecca" of the avant-garde art in the world. It is often said that without Gaudi's highly personalized works, Barcelona will no longer be Barcelona.

No city shines like Barcelona because of one person. Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh and Picasso all left their marks in Barcelona, but they all stayed on flat paper. Only Gaudi makes Barcelona a dream city with its beautiful and ingenious architecture.

The whole of Barcelona is Gaudi's exalted art city. Walking on the streets of Barcelona, there are traces left by this genius everywhere.

Gaudi, a crazy and romantic genius, outlined the outline of the city with natural curves, gave Barcelona a new life with excellent architectural art, and left behind immortal works such as the Guel Palace, Mira House, bartholomew House, Gouel Park, etc. These works are like gems left by heaven in Barcelona, shining all the time.

Barcelona is Gaudi's city, and Gaudi is the soul of Barcelona, a world famous city.

At this point, our self-driving tour of Iberian Peninsula will come to a successful conclusion. However, it never occurred to me that due to the COVID-19 epidemic, our scheduled flight back from Barcelona on February 10 was cancelled and there was no flight. In desperation, we chose to continue our trip to Europe while looking for a return ticket.

The next stop is Prague, the capital of Czechoslovakia.
