On-site management plays a very important role in enterprise management. On-site improvement activities are a series of endless small progress, which enables enterprises to reduce production costs and improve product quality through continuous improvement on the premise of small investment. Furthermore, maintaining advantages in the same industry competition, on-site management and improvement play an important role in the development of production enterprises or production departments. Starting with the analysis of the theoretical system of field improvement, this paper first expounds what is field improvement, and introduces the basic principle, concept, main improvement activities, relationship and function with field management, as well as the ways and means to carry out field improvement. This paper introduces the background of my stamping workshop in Kunshan Foxconn Computer Connector Co., Ltd., and analyzes the main problems in this field. Then, the work carried out by this department in field improvement is introduced from three aspects: the promotion of 7S activities, the maintenance of equipment and the proposal of improvement activities. Finally, the improvement example and preliminary improvement effect of high-speed progressive die stamping are emphatically introduced. Finally, the paper summarizes the main achievements of the previous work and puts forward the next improvement direction.
