Survey background: Middle school students now live in a new era of information exchange and advanced technology, and our horizons may be broader than those of our elders. In addition, with the continuous improvement of the living standards of urban people in China, the consumer market for middle school students has become a battleground for businesses. Some middle school students can make good use of their own money, but others show the phenomenon of indiscriminate consumption. In order to understand the consumption situation of middle school students, reveal this phenomenon, warn students who have this behavior, and suggest the correct consumption mode, we do the following work.
Among middle school students, most students are used to spending money by themselves. According to our investigation, 98.6% middle school students have pocket money, but only 1.4% don't. The main source of this money is parents, and the monthly pocket money is above 0~200 yuan, which is evenly distributed within this range.
According to the data, middle school students have a lot of pocket money, and some students' pocket money is enough to maintain the daily expenses of a family with difficulties! But whether this is indiscriminate consumption, but also to investigate the use of this money. According to our survey, pocket money is mostly used to buy snacks, play video games, buy clothes and various entertainment activities. It can be seen that the phenomenon of indiscriminate consumption of middle school students is really serious.
In order to find out the reasons for this phenomenon, we conducted a sample survey among classmates and parents. Finally, after sorting out, commenting and summarizing, we got the following reasons:
① Teenagers have strong self-esteem. Mainly manifested in: pay attention to appearance, very concerned about what others think of themselves. Nowadays, many middle school students wear famous brands of clothes, pants, shoes and even socks. They should buy good food and drink for daily use. The reason is that brand-name clothes are more beautiful, so you can show off in front of your classmates and think that others respect you. This is easy to form a trend of comparison among classmates, which makes the phenomenon of indiscriminate consumption more serious.
Modern information communication technology is developed, middle school students are very sensitive to new products and technologies, and teenagers are curious, so it is easy to spend money on them. For example, mobile phones and computers, among middle school students, some people buy mobile phones and computers without necessity. In fact, this is very irrational and wasteful, but it is not uncommon.
② Parents dote on their children. Now most middle school students are only children, and their parents love them very much. It is easy for them to form a self-centered "call the wind and call the rain" character. When they have no money, they ask their parents for money, but if they don't give it, they lose their temper ... This will further encourage them to spend money indiscriminately, but it will make them self-righteous, selfish and indifferent to other people's situation.
There are many other reasons, so I won't list them here. Generally speaking, the indiscriminate consumption of middle school students is mainly influenced by the outside world. Since the external environment is not easy to change, to cultivate good consumption habits, we must start from childhood and start from ourselves. It is normal to have pocket money, but the amount must be reasonable. We must use our pocket money reasonably, not lavishly, but when we need it. We don't have to spend money on expensive and impractical things. We should spend money on the cutting edge.
Nowadays, in the 2 1 century, the competition is more intense. Only those who have the ability to work can gain a foothold, not those who have the ability to spend. We shouldn't waste our ability, but we should use our ability correctly and study hard, so that the future is really in our hands!
