Graduation thesis, what is it?
I. Purpose and requirements of graduation thesis (design) 1. Objective: Graduation design (thesis) is the last practical teaching link for undergraduates at school, and it is a comprehensive assessment for graduates to master petroleum engineering theory, basic professional quality and comprehensive ability to analyze and solve petroleum engineering problems. Those who fail in graduation design (thesis) cannot graduate. 2. Requirements: The graduation thesis must include the title, author's name, instructor's name, Chinese abstract, English abstract, table of contents, preface, body content, thanks and references. It can be compiled into the first chapter, including the nature of the topic, the general situation of production practice, the brief description of the writing process, the achievements or progress of the paper, the completion of the task, and the experience of writing the paper. Text content: Generally, it consists of 3-5 chapters. The first chapter is usually the general situation of oil and gas reservoirs in the study area or related research background, the middle chapters are the main part of the research content of the paper, and the last chapter is the conclusion (with suggestions and understanding). Overview of oil and gas reservoirs: including work area location, reservoir structure, oil-bearing series, reservoir characteristics, oil and gas fluid energy characteristics, brief history and present situation of oil and gas development, etc. An overview of related issues of thesis topics. Chapters of the paper: According to the title and length of the paper, it can be 1-3 chapters. Generally, the professional foundation, basic principles, basic parameters and basic working methods of the research topic are discussed first, and then the solutions, research results and work results of this paper for specific topics are discussed. Conclusion: Main research conclusions, existing problems and related suggestions or understandings. Second, the arrangement of graduation thesis (design) Graduation design (thesis) is required to be written after the production practice. After the off-campus production practice, it is transferred to the graduation design (thesis) writing stage. The last semester or half a semester is devoted to writing graduation thesis until the thesis defense. At this stage, under the guidance of teachers, students mainly do the following two tasks: (1) independent indoor analysis, data sorting, computer programming, and the compilation of various related maps and design schemes, systematically sort out the data collected outside the school, and draft the outline of graduation design (thesis) (1 ~ 4 weeks). (2) Analyze and digest all kinds of information obtained by using the learned theory, and complete the graduation project (thesis) according to the thesis outline (5-9 weeks). Three. Basic characteristics and requirements of scientific research graduation thesis (design) (1) The overall requirement of the thesis is 1, and the length of the graduation thesis (including charts) should be controlled around 12000 words, and not more than 15000 words. 2. The graduation thesis requires standardized format, reasonable structure, clear organization, clear concept, fluent text and proper charts. 3. Graduation thesis is required to be printed by computer. 4. Encourage qualified undergraduates to write their graduation thesis in foreign languages. (2) Specific format requirements for graduation thesis 1. The graduation thesis is arranged in the order of cover, Chinese abstract, English abstract, table of contents, preface, text, references and thanks. 2. Paper cover: Fill in the cover provided by the university. 3. Chinese abstract: reportable if required, 200-300 words. Should be independent and self-sufficient Requirements include the following contents: title, student's name, tutor's name, 200-300-word abstract and 3-8 keywords. 4. English abstract: generally corresponding to Chinese abstract. Including: title, candidate: Pingyin, consultant: Pingyin, abstract: 1000- 1200 CHS, keywords: 3-8ws. 5. Foreword: The description should be clear, concise and to the point. 6. Text: Reasonable layout, logical discussion, strong organization, clear concept, smooth expression, no typos and proper use of charts are required. All quantities and units in this paper are in People's Republic of China (PRC) legal units of measurement. The chart in the text should be self-explanatory. The numbers and names of drawings and tables shall be accompanied by corresponding English names. Legend, scale, orientation, coordinates and other requirements are complete, concise and clear, and consistent with the text description. 7. Thanks: Thanks to the instructor, other teachers, classmates, internship units or individuals who helped. 8. References: unpublished cooperation results or internal materials and periodicals should be marked with the words "internal materials and periodicals". The description formats of different types of publicly published references are as follows: (1) Monograph: author (editor), title, edition, place of publication: publishing house, year of publication, page number; (2) Documents separated from monographs: author, title, see (middle): editor, title, edition, place of publication, publisher, year of publication and page number; (3) Literature separated from serial publications: author, title, periodical name, year, volume (issue): page number; (4) translation: a) the author, translator and translation of the paper. See (middle): editor, title, place of publication: publishing house, year of publication, page number; The author; Translation. Translation name, periodical name, year and volume (issue) page number of the paper; (5) Patent documents: the applicant, name, country, type, patent number and publication date of the patent documents; (6) Dissertation: author, professional title, [doctor/master/graduate] dissertation, and storage place; Save the unit, year; If there are no more than three authors, editors and translators in the bibliography, all of them should be written. If there are more than three authors, only the top three are written, followed by "equal" or "equal". Fourth, the score evaluation 1, and the grade and evaluation method of the score adopt the percentile system. 90- 100 points are excellent, 80-89 points are good, 70-79 points are medium, 60-69 points pass, and 60 points fail. 2. Scoring criteria and principles (1). The scoring requirement is 1. Strictly master the grading standards and be fair and just. At the same time, we should also consider specific objective factors realistically; 2. Tutor grading is mainly based on papers, and at the same time, the comprehensive performance and task completion of students' production practice and indoor paper writing are fully considered. 3. The reviewers should review the papers chapter by chapter when grading, and they can learn about the work fields, topics and materials related to the papers through their tutors. 4. There should be written comments on the scores of tutors and assessors. 5. Score with a percentage system. (2) The scoring standard is 1. 90- 100 (excellent) 1). The actual data collected are accurate and complete; Be able to reasonably analyze and use other people's data and materials to fully meet the needs of paper writing; 2). The basic concepts are clear and the arguments are sufficient, and independent opinions are put forward on some problems in the paper, which has certain reference value for production. 3). The text is fluent and concise; The narrative is clear and logical. There are few or no typos. 4). The contents of the drawings are correct and complete, and the drawings are neat and beautiful, which can effectively explain related issues. 2.80-89 (good): 1). The actual data collected are accurate and relatively complete; Can reasonably analyze and use other people's data and materials to meet the needs of paper writing; 2). The basic concepts are clear and the arguments are sufficient, and I put forward my own views on some problems in this paper. 3). Fluent writing; The narrative is clear and logical. 4). The content of the drawing is basically correct, the main parts are complete, and the drawing is neat, which can explain some problems. 3.70-79 (middle) 1). The actual data collected are basically correct; When using other people's materials, the analysis is not enough, and the materials basically meet the needs of paper writing; 2). The basic concepts are relatively clear, and there is no major principle error in the demonstration. 3). The text is not fluent enough; The narrative is not coherent. 4). The picture is incomplete and rough, which basically explains the problem. 4.60-69 (passed) 1). The actual data collected is insufficient; Lack of analysis when using other people's data, the data barely meet the needs of paper writing; 2) Some basic concepts are not clear, but there is no major principle error in the argument. 3). The text is basically smooth but not concise; This narrative is poorly organized. 4). The map is incomplete and rough, which can't explain the problem well. A score below 5.60 (failing) is 1). Lack of actual data collected; Lack of analysis or plagiarism when using other people's data; The data can't meet the needs of thesis writing; 2) The basic concept is unclear, and there is a principled error in the argument. 3). The text is not fluent and concise enough; This narrative is poorly organized. 4) There are many errors, incompleteness and rough drawings, which cannot explain the problem.
