Mechanical damage in soybean seed processing
abstract
Mechanical damage in soybean seed processing.
abstract
The effects of seed cleaning and treatment on soybean seed germination and physical integrity are as follows
It is determined by changing the water content (m:c:) of seeds.
The cleaning effect and quality treatment of soybean seeds depend on the change of seed water content.
In addition, the storage behavior and loss of seeds
The storage resistance caused by damage caused by free falling from different heights was measured.
In addition, the storage mode and storability of seeds are determined by the damage caused by falling from different heights.
Six batches of varieties "MA CS- 13" with three different m:c:s were passed through a vertical bucket elevator, a cleaner with a grader and a gravity separator, and the mechanical damage, germination and vitality index were evaluated. The storage behavior of batches in different processing stages was studied by accelerated aging test.
Six batches of MA CS- 13 with different water contents were evaluated according to mechanical damage, germination status and seed vigor by vertical chain bucket elevator, cleaner and gravity separator. The storage method of this batch deliberately carried out accelerated aging tests at different stages of processing.
By dropping six batches of seeds from four different heights on cement and galvanized iron floors, the effect of free fall on seed quality was studied.
The effect of free-falling seed quality inspection is determined as follows: six seeds fall from four different heights to cement floor and electroplated iron floor.
Vertical bucket elevator significantly reduced germination and increased cracks and seed coats.
Damage.
The vertical chain bucket elevator significantly slowed down germination and increased the cracking and damage of seed coat.
The seed quality loss of 12% m:c: (dry basis) is less than that of 10% or1%m: c. The accelerated aging test predicted that the storage quality of 12% m:c seeds was also better than that of 10% or1%m: c seeds.
Seeds with water content of 12% have less quality loss than those with water content of 10% and 1 1%. According to the accelerated aging test, the storage quality of seeds with water content of 12% is better than that of seeds with water content of 10% and1%. The quality loss caused by soybean seeds falling freely from different heights on cement floor is greater than that caused by electroplating iron plate.

Soybean is a kind of bean rich in protein and oil. It contains 40% protein and
20% oil and calcium, iron, carotene, thiamine and ascorbic acid. According to the ancient saying.
It is recorded in China that it was cultivated as early as 2000 BC (Probst and Judd, 1973). Its spread
