The problem of the tour guide.
A tour guide refers to a person who has obtained a tour guide card in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides and accepted the appointment of a travel agency to provide guidance, explanation and related travel services for tourists.

1. Tour guide qualification: Take the tour guide qualification examination as required and obtain the tour guide certificate.

2. The premise of engaging in tour guide activities: being appointed by a travel agency.

3. Business activities of tour guides: providing guides, explanations and related tourism services for tourists. [Edit this paragraph] Regulations on the Management of Tour Guides Anyone who wishes to engage in tour guide business activities must take the qualification examination for tour guides as required. Those who pass the examination shall be entrusted by the tourism administrative department of the State Council to issue qualification certificates to the tourism administrative departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.

1, tour guide qualification examination conditions

(1) Nationality regulation: The person who takes the tour guide qualification examination must be a citizen with China nationality.

(2) Education: Applicants should have a high school, secondary specialized school or above.

(3) Physical conditions: Applicants must have good physical qualities and be able to meet the needs of tour guides.

(4) Knowledge and language conditions: Candidates must have basic knowledge and language ability to meet the needs of tour guides.

2. Principle of separation of examination and training: The tour guide qualification examination adheres to the principle of separation of examination and training and voluntary training.

1, divided by work area: overseas tour leaders, full-time accompanying tour guides (referred to as full-time accompanying tour guides), local accompanying tour guides (referred to as local accompanying tour guides) and scenic spots guides.

2. By language: Chinese tour guides (including those in Mandarin, dialects and minority languages) and foreign tour guides (commonly used languages are mainly English, French, Korean, Japanese, Russian and German). Non-common languages mainly include two language families: one is the European language family, which mainly includes Spanish, Portuguese, Czech, Albanian, Polish and Serbian; One is the Asian-African language family, which mainly includes Arabic, Korean, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Malay, Burmese, Thai, Sinhalese, Hausa and Swahili.

3. According to the technical level: primary, intermediate, advanced and super tour guides. [Edit this paragraph] The human resource status of tour guides is 1. Judging from the total number of tour guides, according to the forecast of the statistical department, the demand for tour guides in China will be 300,000 by 2008, of which the number of tour guides is 109 13, while the current number of tour guides in China is about 200,000, with a gap of more than 6.5438 million.

2. Judging from the educational structure of tour guides, the proportion of tour guides with bachelor degree or above in China is only 13.8%. This is contrary to the demand of tourists for "high knowledge" of tour guides, which is far from meeting the needs of tourists.

3. Judging from the hierarchical structure of tour guides, low-level (qualified and junior) tour guides account for the vast majority of tour guides, accounting for 96.3%. In China, the level of tour guides reflects the service level of tour guides to some extent. With the progress of society, people's demand for tourism consumption is higher and higher. With the increasing demand of tourists, the demand for high-level tour guides will also increase greatly.

4. From the language structure of tour guides, the overall number of foreign language tour guides is insufficient, especially some small language tour guides. In recent years, China's inbound tourism has grown rapidly, especially in Asian countries such as South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand and India. Compared with 2002, India increased by 44.85%, South Korea by 33.92% and Thailand by 20. 15%, and this growth is still expanding.

5. From the geographical structure of tour guides, the number of tour guides in the central and western provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) is relatively small, and some western provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) are seriously short of tour guides.

To sum up, there is a certain gap in the total number of tour guides in China, which requires the society, especially colleges and universities, to train corresponding tour guide professionals as soon as possible. [Edit this paragraph] Prepare the examination materials 1. The tour guide qualification examination is divided into two parts: written examination and oral examination. Require Chinese and foreign candidates to use Chinese answer sheets in the written test; Take the oral test in the language you are applying for.

2, the subjects and contents of the exam

2. The advantage of applying for classes is that the information is comprehensive and rich. You can learn some useful things without knowledge in books, meet some talented tour guides or senior teachers in colleges and universities, and make friends in a group of circles.

3. Following the teacher's systematic combing of five textbooks, I have my own clue.

4. The training class will also organize internships at scenic spots before the exam, because the oral exam accounts for half. Go to the scenic spot and talk about it in person, so that you can really understand it thoroughly.

[Edit this paragraph] Career prospects of tour guides Foreign language tour guides are the most "fragrant"

Among the current tour guides, foreign language tour guides have a particularly high income, while small language tour guides are the scarcest and have the greatest market demand. Beijing receives 3 million overseas tourists every year, involving 26 languages, except small languages such as English and Japanese.

There are only five Portuguese tour guides, Greek, Mongolian, Vietnamese, Swedish and Albanian are only 1, and there are not many other tour guides like Spanish, Korean, Russian, Thai and Indonesian.

Among nearly 4,000 Mandarin and local language tour guides, local language tour guides are rare. It is reported that there are only 100 Cantonese tour guides, 1 Minnan tour guides and1Hakka and Taishan tour guides in Beijing.

The number of advanced tour guides also needs to be improved. Among the 7,000-8,000 tour guides in Beijing, there are only over 200 senior tour guides, only 500-600 intermediate tour guides, and the rest are junior tour guides. The tourism management department expects high-quality tour guides to join the industry as soon as possible.

The rise of tourism has promoted the favor of tour guides, and the number of people applying for tour guide qualification certificate has doubled year by year. The background of those who apply for the tour guide qualification certificate is very different. The youngest candidate 18 years old and the oldest 73 years old. The lowest education is high school and the highest is master's degree. The industry spans a lot. All walks of life, research institutes, universities and civil servants have signed up. These people are not all engaged in this profession for life. Some people hold certificates mainly for part-time tour guides in their spare time, while others just for expanding their life experience.
