Guhai Ruins Shell Mountain
Shell Mountain, ancient sea site, also known as Eagle Mouth Mountain. Climbing up from the foot of the mountain, you can see the exposed rocks, large and small, all covered with shells, and the outline and lines of the shells are clearly discernible. Hundreds of millions of shells, as big as copper coins and as small as thumbs, are condensed with saline-alkali sediments, which are layered and varied. According to experts' research, the Pamirs was originally under the ocean, and gradually rose to the land and then to the plateau due to crustal changes, as evidenced by naked shell fossils.
