The appendices of instructions or papers are numbered as Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C in turn. If there is only one appendix, it should also be compiled as "Appendix A". The naming method of figures, tables and formulas in the appendix also adopts the naming method of the above figures, tables and formulas, except that the chapter number is changed to the appendix number. Attached Figure A.5 is the fifth figure representing Appendix A. Others and so on.

Some contents in the standard are relatively concentrated and have a large space. In order to make the overall structure of the standard more symmetrical, this part of the content can be extracted and an appendix can be attached to the back of the text.

Sometimes some content in the standard is not long, but the content described is not coherent. In order to standardize the coherence of the whole structure, we can also extract this part and attach an appendix to the back of the text.

Appendix function

1. For the completeness of instructions or papers, if it is incorporated into the text, it will be harmful to the processing and logic of the text. This kind of material contains more detailed descriptions of information research methods and technologies than the text, which is of great supplementary significance to understanding the main content.

2. Materials that are inconvenient to be included in the text because of too much space or based on copywriting.

3. Some important raw data, mathematical derivation, calculation programs, notes, block diagrams, statistical tables, printer output samples, structural drawings, etc.
