In the work of collecting, sorting and compiling data, this chapter follows five basic principles:
First, publicly published data, internal or unpublished data, due to intellectual property issues or the reliability of the data itself, are temporarily not used until the original author publishes them.
The second is to collect as much as possible to avoid omissions. Of course, years of practice have shown that it is impossible to collect all the data, but it is an indisputable fact that a large number of new data emerge almost every day in many laboratories all over the country. The data collection scope was published in China Knowledge Network and the Geological Literature Catalogue of the National Geological Library, and the deadline was 201June 3. The main publications are Deposit Geology, Journal of Geology, Geological Review, Journal of Earth, Journal of Petrology, Rock and Ore Testing, Structure and Mineralogy and Geology of China.
The third is to respect the expression of the original author. In published articles or reports, some data do not describe the sample characteristics, some data sampling locations are not clear, some data analysis and testing methods are not explained, and so on. In these cases, the editor should respect the original author's opinion as much as possible, and should not modify or supplement it artificially to avoid gilding the lily or self-defeating. However, in order to facilitate tabulation and inquiry, the description in the original text is only a brief excerpt and has not been reproduced in full. Please refer to the original text for details. Therefore, references are also an important part of the collection, collation and compilation of this chapter.
The fourth is to highlight key points. The direct purpose of this data compilation is to study important minerals and regional metallogenic regularity, with emphasis on metallogenic age data and geological events related to mineralization (including magmatic rocks, metamorphic rocks, sedimentary rocks and tectonic events). The column "Related Minerals" is specially given in the table. Unfortunately, most of the isotopic ages published at present are zircon dating data. In recent years, most of the diagenetic age data published by zircon SHRIMP, LA-ICP-MS and other technologies do not give the corresponding mineral resources or corresponding deposits of the measured rock mass (or other geological bodies), but it takes a long time to check them one by one. Therefore, it is quite difficult to list zircon age data, which is not considered at present.
Fifth, the service target is clear. The original motivation of compiling this chapter is to facilitate the use of provincial working groups and national summary groups in important national mineral resources potential evaluation projects. Therefore, data collection and data classification are carried out by province, which is also to connect with the previously published National Isotopic Geological Chronological Data Compilation. However, it should also be pointed out that due to the fact that the "compilation" work is almost carried out at the same time as the provincial-level research on metallogenic regularity, some provincial-level projects have already used isotopic chronology data when constructing typical ore deposit metallogenic models and summarizing regional metallogenic regularity (such as "Research on Important Minerals and Regional Metallogenic Regularities in Henan Province"), and some provinces have also collected samples independently or in cooperation with scientific research institutes. Isotopic chronology data (such as Jilin Province, Anhui Province, Heilongjiang Province, etc. ) was used in time, but some provinces didn't make full use of it, especially some key data (such as new metallogenic chronology data of antimony ore, mercury ore and gold ore), which affected the understanding of metallogenic regularity. Fortunately, the compilation of "Mineral Geochronology" to be carried out in an all-round way is still deployed according to the idea of "double main lines" of minerals and regions, and provincial working groups still have the opportunity to make full use of isotopic geochronology data. Therefore, this compilation does not sort out the data according to the test method, geological age or classification system of mineralization, but according to the idea of sorting out the six regions of northwest, north China, northeast China, southwest China, south-central China and east China by province. For example, the data number 1 ~ 1934 belongs to Xinjiang, and the data number10342 ~11387 belongs to Jiangxi. Obviously, Xinjiang and Jiangxi have the most data, which is highly consistent with the study of metallogenic regularity in these two provinces (regions). Chongqing has only two data, which also corresponds to its low research level.
It should be pointed out that the basic principle of data sorting and data selection is to avoid duplication, but despite spending a lot of manpower and time, there are still many problems. For example, the selection of suspected duplicate data is different, which inevitably leads to deviation. The final solution is as follows: ① For the same data of the same sample (judging whether it is the same sample mainly depends on the sample number, sampling location, research team where the sampler is located and the consistency of the data itself), the data published by the sampler should be used as much as possible in this "compilation" (for example, Turkey River Lead-Zinc Mine 184.9 0.9 1Ma+0ma in Liu Cui Guo Jia's master thesis). (2) When the same data of the same sample are published by different authors, the first one is adopted in this compilation; (3) The same sample is not artificially differentiated because of different detection methods, different detection results and different laboratories. As long as it is related to mineralization, samples are collected, that is, it is not excluded because the test method is K-Ar method, but retained because it is Ar-Ar method.
In addition, the compilation of national isotopic geological age data initiated by Yichang Institute and other scientific research institutions has played an active role in geological survey and scientific research, and also provided reference for this compilation. In addition, the way of collecting, sorting and compiling this chapter also inherits the tradition, and adopts the form of table to facilitate searching. The language in the table should be as concise as possible, and some abbreviations used for this purpose can refer to the following table:
