Steps of the University of Leeds Appeal Process 1: Appeal Preparation

① Fill in the complaint form. The complaint form must state the case according to the reasons for the complaint.

② Before the deadline, submit the completed complaint form and all supporting evidence to the student case team by email.

(3) Students receive the appeal confirmation within 5 working days.

Step 2: First instance of appeal

① After receiving the appeal request, conduct a preliminary review of the appeal within 10 working days.

If the complaint is accepted, the school will inform the students of the time, place and materials of the complaint.

(3) If the complaint is rejected, the school will issue a program completion letter, allowing students to ask questions (OIA) to the Office of Independent Adjudicator of Higher Education.

Step 3: Final explanation

① The school will submit a reply to the student case group within 20 working days from the date of receiving the student complaint reply, including the school reply form and all supporting documents.

② The student case group will forward the school's response to the students so that they can make a final explanation of the complaint.

③ Within 10 working days from the date when the student case group asks the student to provide the final opinion, the student must list the final opinion in the final opinion form and submit it to the student case group by email or mail.
