Abstract: The "Convenient Bookshelf" published in the eighth issue of your magazine in 2007 is convenient to take out books by pressing blocks. This is a good design. However, the pressing block protrudes from the bookshelf, occupying space and affecting the placement of items (such as pencil boxes) in front of the bookshelf. So, I want to change this design into a folding type, dig a slot in the vertical bar in front of the bookshelf and install a small magnet (as shown in figure 1). When not in use, the pressing block can be folded up close to the bookshelf to make room for the desktop.
