He has presided over the completion of Crohn's Disease Foundation (CCFA) 1 scientific research projects, 5 national natural science foundation projects, and the New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education (NCET-05-0609), and currently undertakes 2 national natural science foundation research projects and other scientific research projects. He is mainly engaged in the study of immunopathological injury mechanism and clinical efficacy of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, and has made oral reports at American Gastroenterology Congress (AGA), European Gastroenterology Congress (UEGW) and National Digestive Diseases Academic Congress for many times, which has great influence in domestic and foreign peer fields. In recent years, it has been found that intestinal inflammation is caused by abnormal regulation of immune cells, imbalance of proinflammatory mediators/inhibitory mediators, abnormal expression of miRNA and the interaction of mental stress. Through routine intestinal local immunomodulation therapy, combined with the latest international biological immune targeted therapy, parenteral nutrition conditioning therapy and so on. The development of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis can be effectively controlled, which can delay surgical intervention and prevent recurrence. He has published more than 200 scientific research papers, including more than 50 papers collected by SCI, and his representative papers are published in Gut, Journal of Immunology, Infectious Bowel Diseases, Journal of Biological Chemistry, etc. Participate in the international IBD organization to formulate international opinions on Crohn's disease complicated with fistula (paper published in Gut, 20 14).
