At present, there are some problems in the ethos construction of grass-roots troops, such as unhealthy ethos, insufficient work motivation, incomplete ideological transformation of officers and men in the regularization construction, excessive emphasis on form in ideological and political construction because of invigorating form, and many life accidents and violations of discipline. This paper analyzes the universality and representativeness of these problems, and puts forward the key points to solve the problems in combination with the general idea of the construction and development of ethos in grass-roots units: supervision in guidance, burden reduction in solving problems, liberalization in norms, harmony in coordination, cultivation in encouragement and development in innovation. In order to further strengthen and improve the work style construction of grass-roots units, firmly establish the socialist concept of rule of law, and explore new ideas for work, an investigation was carried out on the work style construction of grass-roots units. According to the investigation, the mainstream of the current construction of study style at the grass-roots level is good, showing a rising and developing momentum. The vast majority of the teams are United and powerful, and the role of the battle fortress is obvious. The ability to solve their own problems and the level of leading troops have been gradually improved. The vast majority of officers and men have a correct service attitude, and their post consciousness, responsibility consciousness and dedication consciousness are obviously enhanced, and they are ideologically harmonious and stable as a whole. In terms of ideological and political education, the army has a clear sense of "first place", innovative methods and forms, and basically implemented the content and effect. Around the center of "building a harmonious police camp", we carried out the idea of "training for war", actively carried out all-staff duty training activities, and successfully completed all previous fire fighting and rescue tasks. However, while affirming the achievements, we should also keep a clear understanding, face up to the problems existing in a few units and take corresponding countermeasures.
