Li Hongzhong, 194 1, born in Xiyang county, Shaanxi province, was born in June. 1965, after graduating from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Taiyuan University of Technology, he began to work in Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

1965- 1978 worked in Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and participated in the national key project of cis-butadiene rubber for a long time (note: the collective achievement of this project won the national special prize for scientific and technological progress 1985, but I didn't win the prize), in which I was engaged in the research and development of fluidized bed reactor for oxidative dehydrogenation of butene to butadiene.

198 1 obtained a master's degree from the Graduate School of China University of Science and Technology.

1986, Institute of Chemical Metallurgy, China Academy of Sciences, received a doctorate in engineering.

1986- 1988 postdoctoral fellow, visiting scholar, University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada, studying the combustion characteristics of various fuels and the flow characteristics of fine particles in a pilot-scale circulating fluidized bed. The paper won the Best Paper Award of the 10th International Conference on Fluidized Bed Combustion 1989.

1989, researcher, Institute of Chemical Metallurgy, China Academy of Sciences. He has successively undertaken major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation in the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan, major projects of the National 973 Plan, open laboratory fund projects, and cooperative projects with enterprises such as sinopec group, Shanghai Coking Plant and Panzhihua Iron and Steel Company. This paper mainly studies the theory and method of quantifying and regulating the structure and dynamic behavior of industrial gas-solid fluidized bed and moving bed. The existence of particle clusters in a fast fluidized bed was discovered by a self-designed optical fiber micro-camera probe, which attracted wide attention at home and abroad. The theory and method of particle and additive composition design, fluid design, external force field design, internal components and bed type design are put forward to inhibit the growth of bubbles and agglomerates and realize gas-solid bulk fluidization.

In 2005, he was elected as an academician of China Academy of Sciences.

On June 9th, 2006, the report of the delegation of "Science and China" and the academic report of the 60th anniversary of the Department of Chemical Engineering were held in the academic lecture hall of Tsinghua Nano Center. Academician Li Hongzhong gave a report entitled "Focusing on structure, interface and multi-scale problems, opening up a new milestone in chemical engineering".

On February 28th, 20 12, Academician Li Hongzhong and Academician Zhang Yi were invited to visit Chengdu Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, accompanied by Zhu Qingshan, Assistant Director of Institute of Process Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Li Tang, Minister of Science and Technology of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and the two sides exchanged views on the cooperation between the Institute and local governments, especially the project cooperation between the Institute and Sichuan Panzhihua Iron and Steel Company.

On September 26th, 20 12, he attended the seminar on scientific thoughts held at the Institute of Process Engineering of China Academy of Sciences to commemorate the 1 10 anniversary of Mr. Ye's birth.

On April, 2004 1 2065438, Academician Li Hongzhong visited the Dayu Science Forum, and described in detail the research progress in the field of quantitative description of mesoscopic structure in chemical engineering and its quantitative relationship with three exhibitions and one reaction.
