Phosphating coated steel wire rope (China patent), the steel wire is phosphatized by manganese series or zinc-manganese series, and the surface of the steel wire is very wear-resistant, effectively inhibiting fretting wear. It is an upgraded product of smooth steel wire rope, and its service life in atmospheric environment is far longer than that of smooth steel wire rope with the same structure, including imported smooth steel wire rope (at present, phosphating rope is about 3 times that of smooth steel wire rope, and it may be greatly improved with the in-depth study of wear-resistant phosphating solution in the future. The thickness of phosphating film is 3-60g/m2. After phosphating, the steel wire will not be pulled, and the steel wire will be twisted directly. Note-wire drawing phosphating should not be confused with wire phosphating for rope making). China's phosphating coated steel wire rope has been innovated abroad. This technology is suitable for almost all kinds of wire ropes, such as elevator wire ropes and important wire ropes.
2. Galvanized steel wire rope, including hot dip galvanizing and electro-galvanizing. The thicker the zinc layer of direct hot-dip galvanized steel wire, the thicker the zinc layer, the stronger the corrosion resistance, and the longer the service time, the thinner the zinc electroplating. Because the phosphating film has certain corrosion resistance, manganese phosphating film steel wire rope can be used to replace some varieties of thin galvanized steel wire rope, such as grade B galvanized steel wire rope in GB89 18-2006.
3. Stainless steel wire rope, steel wire rope twisted with stainless steel wire, such as 304 or 3 16 stainless steel, is more expensive. Manganese phosphating film can also greatly prolong the service life of stainless steel wire (phosphating of stainless steel wire requires special phosphating formula).
4. Plastic coated steel wire rope: On the basis of high-quality carbon steel wire rope, the outer layer of steel wire rope or strand rope is coated with polyethylene or polypropylene.
5. 1834 smooth steel wire ropes produced in Britain and 1939 produced by Tianjin No.1 Wire Rope Factory will be completely replaced by phosphating coated steel wire ropes as they enter the market in large quantities.
The anti-rotation wire rope in the four-strand wire rope is hemp core wire rope. After the round strands are twisted, they are integrated. In the process of rope combination, round strands are extruded into elliptical strands by extrusion, which has certain anti-rotation performance, but the overall anti-rotation performance is not as good as that of multi-strand wire ropes, such as 19*7 or 35*7. If the tower crane is high, it is recommended to use multi-strand steel wire rope, which has better anti-rotation performance and the service life of manganese phosphating coated steel wire rope is much longer.
