The research method of any subject is logically nothing more than deduction and induction. We also mainly use these two methods to learn the Armed Police Law. In order to avoid falling into the quagmire of idealism, we take Marxist materialist dialectics as our philosophical theoretical basis in our research. In terms of combining China's national conditions with the reality of the Armed Police Force, we carry out research methods guided by Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents and Scientific Outlook on Development. The formulation of the Armed Police Law must be based on the Constitution. At present, there is no armed police code, and the constitution and the basic law of the country are the main basis for our research. When using deduction, we try to list the correct preconditions and adopt standardized reasoning rules. However, considering the complexity of social science, we cannot guarantee that all the conclusions are correct. As mentioned above, these conclusions need to be further verified and tested in practice. When using induction, we try to avoid generalization. But it is almost impossible to summarize completely, and the theoretical viewpoints abstracted from induction will be improved continuously. On the basis of our possession of information, we adopt various comparative studies. In addition to the comparison with other domestic legal disciplines (especially military law and national defense law), it will also be compared with relevant foreign laws and legal viewpoints.

As a research topic, the propositions and viewpoints discussed in this book are relatively new.
