Sun Xiaoling, Ph.D., tutor of master students. Research direction: chemical ecology of tea pests.

2. Professional experience

1) 2009-present: Associate Research Fellow, Master Tutor and Assistant Director, Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 2) 2011.8-201.10: Cooperative research in the laboratory of Professor Consuelo De Morase, Pennsylvania State University. 3) March 2007: Technical training was conducted in the laboratory of Professor William Boland of Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology in Germany. 4) 2006-2009: Assistant Research Fellow, Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. 5) 2004. 1 1-2005.4: Cooperative research of Atlantic Forestry Center of Canadian Forest Service.

4. Main research directions

Mainly engaged in the chemical and molecular ecology of the interaction between insects and plants, using the principle of chemical ecology to control tea pests, focusing on revealing the chemical and molecular mechanisms of plant defense response induced by pests and pest response to plant defense response. At present, the main research directions are: (1) the ecological function and molecular mechanism of tea-induced defense response; Chemical and molecular mechanism of phytophagous insects adapting to tea tree defense response: integrated management of tea tree pests.
