1933 It was an autumn evening and he asked his friend Boxun Zhou out for a walk. As he walked, he said to his friend, there is a little girl selling newspapers on this road with a beautiful name. I want Boxun Zhou to listen to it. When they arrived at the entrance of Ban Lü Road (now Chongqing South Road), they saw a little girl walking around, selling the evening paper in a hurry. Her voice is clear and loud, selling registration and prices in an orderly manner. Knowing that his father was ill and his family life was difficult, Nie Er bought some newspapers and chatted with her at the same time. On the way home, Nie Er said with a heavy voice, "I really want to write about the tragic life of a newspaper-selling child, and I want Tian Han or an E to write lyrics." .
A few days later, Ann E wrote the lyrics. Nie Er found the little girl, read the lyrics to her, and then asked her if there was anything inappropriate. The little girl thought for a moment and said, "Everything is fine, but if I can write down some newspapers with copper coins, I can sell them while singing." Nie Er immediately went back to discuss with An E and added the sentence "Seven coppers can buy two newspapers" to the lyrics. Later, the little girl really sold her singing, and singing made her business better. Now Nie Er has passed away, but the little girl is still alive and has become a white-haired old man. People are always going to die, but Nie Er's "Bao Ge" will last forever.
Nie Er's brother Nie Xulun told me a story about Nie Er.
At the beginning of 1925, Confucius Temple informed Qiushi Primary School to move out temporarily because the main hall needed maintenance. They also promised that when the main hall was repaired, the school could move back and reopen. The school took it for granted and borrowed an empty house as a temporary school building. A month later, the temple was repaired, but Confucius broke his word. They refused to go back to the temple and start classes again. After repeated representations by the school, it still failed, and the school faced a crisis of bankruptcy.
President Su gathered more than 100 students on a small road next to the Confucius Temple and told them about the current predicament. The students, headed by Nie Er, president of the Student Union, decided to stand with the school and strive to return to the main hall for classes. Student representatives not only negotiated with Confucius Temple, but also directly petitioned relevant departments of Kunming Education Bureau. However, the Education Bureau only protects the interests of Confucius and temples and completely ignores the demands of students.
Nie Er and his classmates came up with new countermeasures. Every five or six students form a group and take to the streets separately to mobilize the citizens. They came to places with heavy traffic such as Yuantong Temple and Cuihu Park and told the public what had happened. Students who have no place to attend classes stand on the streets early in the morning every day to make publicity in order to win the support of the citizens. President Su strongly supported the students' actions, and the teachers joined the students. Teachers and students decided to carry out such publicity activities for a long time until the goal was achieved.
Gradually, more and more people sympathize with and support them. A month later, Confucius Temple was afraid of making a big deal, and finally had to agree to let Qiushi Primary School move back to the main hall for classes. Nie er won the battle with them.
Shortly after the resumption of classes, the school awarded Nie Er a certificate in recognition of his excellent academic performance and leading role in this struggle. This is the first award in Nie Er's life.
Nan Yucheng's Music Enlightenment Experience
1922 In the spring, Nie Er finished his four-year junior high school studies with excellent results and was about to enter senior high school. But he met a problem. The school stipulates that every student must join the Boy Scouts. One condition of joining the boy scouts is to prepare a whole set of things such as uniforms and belts. Nie Er thought that her mother worked hard all day and her family's economic conditions were not good, so she never joined. However, the school requires that all students who enter high school must be Boy Scouts, otherwise they can only transfer to private reality primary schools. After his mother recovered from a serious illness, Nie Er couldn't ask for any more money.
No way, Nie Er had to transfer to Qiushi Primary School. According to Nie Er's grades and considering his family's financial situation, the school provided him with some subsidies to reduce his tuition and fees. Nie Xulun also goes to school there, and the distance from home to school is much closer than that of the middle school attached to Normal University.
Qiushi Primary School, founded by President Su Honggang, has no funds to build a school building and can only attend classes in Confucius Temple. Due to the small space, there is only one class in each grade, with about 30 students in each class. President Su believes that although the school facilities are simple, students can exercise better after some twists and turns. The school fully implements the educational policy of President Su, and the school spirit of Qiushi Primary School is well known. At the same time, the school also attaches great importance to students' sentiment education in many aspects, including music. In music, in addition to traditional national musical instruments, western musical instruments such as organ are also played. The teacher is very enthusiastic and instructs the students to practice musical instruments after school. Qiushi Primary School is famous for its music teaching, which is really a blessing in disguise for Nie Er who loves music.
