On the integration of employment guidance and moral education in colleges and universities

Abstract: With the popularization of higher education, the employment of college students has become a hot issue in society. This paper studies the current situation of college graduates' employment difficulties, analyzes the reasons for the difficulties in employment and the lack of moral education in employment guidance, puts forward that moral education should be combined with employment guidance in college education, and explores the effective ways of mutual infiltration between moral education and employment guidance for college students.

With the continuous expansion of the enrollment scale of colleges and universities, the employment competition of college graduates is becoming increasingly fierce. Therefore, whether college graduates can find jobs smoothly has become a hot issue in our society. In terms of employment, the traditional concept of "employment before choosing a job" leads to the lack of stability, low loyalty and poor professionalism of current college graduates; In moral education, college students often ignore theoretical knowledge and accomplishment, and need to further strengthen humanistic accomplishment and ideological and moral character. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the employment success rate of college graduates by studying the current employment situation of college students and the reasons for the lack of moral education reality, finding out the existing problems and their reasons, so as to improve the methods and contents of employment guidance for college students and strengthen moral education in employment guidance.

First, the lack of moral education in college students' employment guidance and its causes

1. Lack of employment ethics of college students

(1) College students have misconduct. After the expansion of the enrollment scale of colleges and universities, the whole society gradually appeared the phenomenon of attaching importance to wisdom and neglecting morality. Due to the influence of the current social atmosphere, college students often have a lot of troubles and puzzles in their values. Many students, influenced by social realism and money worship, have the psychology of "reading is useless", doubt that knowledge changes their destiny, and have ambivalence in moral understanding and practice. As a result, many students hold a perfunctory attitude towards learning, and the phenomenon of not being serious in class, skipping classes, cheating in exams, making-up exams and retaking exams is more serious.

(2) Lack of employment integrity. In job hunting and employment, some college students may fabricate and use false employment information to attract the attention of employment units and improve the success rate of job hunting because of their strong vanity and eagerness for success. However, in the process of employment, it is quite serious to unilaterally break the contract and jump ship at will. Under the concept of choosing a job after employment, many college graduates often don't attach importance to their first job, only regard it as an exercise opportunity to accumulate work experience, and have no determination and perseverance to do their first job well. Therefore, when their salary and rising space can't reach the expected goal, or they feel that they have been trained and mastered the technology, they generally jump ship to find the next job, and their job instability is greatly enhanced.

2. The main reasons for the lack of moral education in college students' employment guidance

(1) The concept and mode of employment guidance are out of date. In the past, the content of employment guidance was mainly the guidance of employment policy, the transmission of recruitment information and the teaching of interview skills in the workplace. The content lacks originality and the form is single, which makes it difficult to arouse students' interest and attention. In the past, the employment guidance mode was mainly based on school employment agencies. By collecting and summarizing all kinds of employment information, it directly provided employment information and employment services to graduates in the form of news release, but little was known about students' employment needs, employment psychology, ideology and morality.

(2) Weak employment guidance. At present, the employment guidance of colleges and universities in China is mainly completed by employment offices, counselors and leaders in charge. The personnel in charge of employment guidance are highly mobile, students have many tasks, and they lack corresponding professional knowledge, so they can't give timely and adequate employment guidance to graduates.

(3) The contents and information channels of employment guidance are single. At present, the employment guidance for college students is not systematic in content and form. In the aspects of employment policy propaganda and common employment skills, the methods adopted are "on paper", lacking practical training plan, boring content and unsatisfactory teaching effect. The sources of employment information are mainly transmitted to students through the internet, advertisements and job fairs, but students often miss good job opportunities because of their poor comprehensive analysis ability of employment information, which restricts the improvement of graduates' employment rate.

Second, the importance of combining moral education with employment guidance.

The purpose of moral education in higher education is to improve the moral cultivation level of college students at the ideological level, form a correct moral consciousness at the moral level and attach importance to the code of conduct at the spiritual level. Therefore, it is of great significance to do moral education well in the teaching process and strengthen employment guidance.

1. Moral education is the basis and prerequisite for doing a good job in employment guidance.

Through the understanding and analysis of the employment needs of employers, we can see that the requirements of employers for graduates are constantly improving, and they have not only paid attention to professional knowledge and practical ability, but also required good physical, psychological and ideological professional qualities. Moral education in colleges and universities should be mainly divided into the following points.

(1) Cultivate students' strong willpower, accurate judgment, good affinity and rich creativity.

(2) Make students form a correct learning attitude, psychological quality and moral quality. Through the combination with employment guidance, students can make correct career choices and implement career planning reasonably.

2. Moral education can promote employment guidance.

By analyzing the reasons for the lack of moral education in the process of college students' employment, we realize the importance of moral education to the employment effect of college students. Through moral education in colleges and universities, students can be guided and helped to establish a correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, as well as a correct and reasonable view of job selection. During this period, students' enthusiasm for study and work was widely mobilized through employment guidance, and their comprehensive quality was improved. Therefore, moral education, as an important part of cultivating talents, plays an important role in promoting employment guidance.

Third, the way to combine moral education with employment guidance.

1. Moral education runs through employment guidance.

Employment guidance runs through students' whole university stage, and moral education is an important part of higher education. In order to cultivate and improve students' employability, moral education should run through the whole process of employment guidance.

(1) Employment guidance should encourage students to participate in the teaching and practice of employment guidance when they enter school, constantly infiltrate employment guidance in daily teaching, scientific research, extracurricular activities and community activities, and combine moral education to help students understand themselves and accurately position themselves, and constantly improve their employability and professional quality. Running through employment guidance in moral education can not only cultivate students' professional quality in daily education, but also achieve the purpose of cultivating students' employment quality and ability, so that the role of employment guidance is not limited to employment, but also effectively improve students' comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness.

(2) Combining with the education of college students' professional ethics, democracy and legal system, patriotism and civilization and honesty, we should cultivate students' good professional habits of being a man and doing things through moral education, and guide them to form a correct sense of service and a good ability of organization and coordination. Combine employment work such as employment ideas, skills and information with ideological and moral education, cultivate students' correct attitude towards life and outlook on employment, help college students establish correct life ideals and firm beliefs, and establish correct job-hunting expectations.

(3) Faced with the severe employment situation and employment pressure, many college students are prone to various psychological problems due to their lack of psychological preparation for dealing with setbacks and failures. Therefore, it is necessary to help students tide over the difficulties through mental health education, so that students can learn how to maintain a healthy psychology and job-hunting mentality, help them correctly understand themselves and social reality, enhance their ability to resist setbacks and failures, and maintain a positive employment attitude.

2. Infiltrate employment guidance in moral education.

Vocational guidance for college students in the process of moral education teaching can not only improve the contradiction between moral education course teaching and reality, but also fully mobilize students' initiative and enthusiasm. But in the process of moral education, we need to pay attention to the following points.

(1) Pay attention to cultivating students' correct outlook on employment. Influenced by the current social atmosphere and employment orientation, some college graduates have incorrect employment ideas and concepts. Under the influence of the wrong employment concept, many graduates have repeatedly hit a wall in the process of employment. Therefore, moral education should guide students to establish a correct outlook on life and values, and at the same time guide students to establish a correct outlook on employment.

(2) Pay attention to improving students' comprehensive quality. Under the condition of market economy, employers are more inclined to hire graduates with strong comprehensive quality. Therefore, moral education should aim at students' reality, and consciously cultivate students' learning ability, practical ability and organization and coordination ability through practice, teaching and simulation, so as to improve students' employment competitiveness.

(3) Combining with professional characteristics, to urge students to know themselves correctly. Unreasonable self-orientation and evaluation are obstacles to college students' employment. Overconfidence, blind optimism, excessive inferiority and negative coping will all affect the success rate of students' employment. In the process of moral education, different teaching methods and contents should be adopted in combination with the personality characteristics of students of different majors, so as to guide students to evaluate themselves comprehensively and accurately with a comprehensive, objective and developmental perspective.

(4) Strengthen honesty and legal education. In view of some graduates' fraud, breach of contract and even possible illegal behavior in the process of job hunting. Moral education for college students can be carried out through daily classroom teaching, off-campus expert lectures, discussion and exchange between teachers and students, and gradually cultivate students' personal integrity awareness; And strengthen the study of "the basis of laws and regulations", so that students can understand relevant laws and regulations, abide by the law, and consciously restrain immoral thoughts and behaviors. At the same time, by studying labor law, contract law, criminal law and other laws and regulations, the legitimate rights and interests of graduates in the process of employment can be safeguarded to the maximum extent, and the blindness of graduates in dealing with employment problems can also be effectively reduced.
