Abstract: Speech act theory is an important theory to study human speech communication from the perspective of behavior. From the perspective of discourse function, speech acts can be divided into expressive speech acts, performative speech acts and complete speech acts. Generally speaking, the successful implementation of the speech act of performance needs to meet three conditions: preparation, execution and sincerity. The classification of illocutionary acts is of positive significance to its research.

Speech act theory is put forward by Austin, a general philosophy of language, on the basis of classifying sentences from speech acts, and it is an important theory to explain human speech communication from the perspective of behavior. Austin emphasized that language is an act, and any sentence carries out an act. Speech acts can be divided into three categories: semantic acts, speech acts and speech effect acts. Searle supplemented and perfected Austin's speech act theory, and advocated examining the meaning of discourse from the aspects of the speaker's intention, purpose and context, and revised Austin's speech act into propositional act, speech act and speech effect act.
