Bobby Chen is a native of Zhanjiang, Guangdong, with a bachelor's degree in economics from Peking University and an EMBA from Tsinghua. 1984 was assigned to a public institution in Guangzhou after graduation. Three years later, he resolutely decided to go to sea. Bobby Chen said with a smile that he was the only one who came into the office at that time and studied economics. One day, he wrote a paper entitled "China will enter a free economy sooner or later", which was later published, but somehow it reached his boss. When the boss saw it, he called him to the office to "educate" him and thought there was something wrong with his concept. Bobby Chen said that he likes to make independent decisions about certain things, but in that working environment, he can't act according to his own personality. It can be said that the "thesis incident" prompted him to make an indirect decision to resign. After resigning, in order to make a living, Bobby Chen became a ghost and began to sell clothes on the street. After selling clothes for several months, he made a little money. Then one day, he went to a relative's house in rural Zhanjiang to play. On the same day, his relatives took more than 65,438,000 kilograms of radish they planted to the street for sale. However, due to the wind and rain at that time, relatives only sold 10 Jin and earned 10 yuan. On that day, the experiences of other farmers in the village were similar. A group of farmers were very angry and sat on the ground complaining that it would never happen again next year. Bobby Chen, who stood by at that time, was inspired by this sentence. According to the principle of economics, when the supply is less than the demand, the price will rise. So, he contracted 100 mu of vegetable fields with a little savings earned by selling clothes, and brought some vegetable farmers to cultivate them themselves. During this period, he found that vegetable prices were most affected by the weather except the relationship between supply and demand. Especially when the Siberian cold current approached Guangzhou the day before, the weather was sultry and the price of vegetables was very cheap. Chen Sheng took the opportunity to buy all the vegetables available in the market. It happened to be a holiday on the day of cooling, and most farmers didn't come out to sell vegetables. "The purchase price 1 penny a catty, I will sell it at 6 cents a catty." Chen Sheng said that this reselling made him earn the first bucket of gold in his life and earned hundreds of thousands at once. From then on, he began to sell vegetables exclusively. As for the understanding that weather affects prices, Bobby Chen said with a smile that he kept his mouth shut until he went back to chat with the vegetable farmers eight years later. With the first bucket of gold earned, Bobby Chen began to join the real estate industry in Zhanjiang from 65438 to 0993. It only took him three years to become the top three in Zhanjiang real estate market. Considering some unsafe factors outside the law involved in the real estate industry, Bobby Chen began to switch to making drinks. "At that time, I wanted to make a pure carbonated drink." Bobby Chen said that at the last moment when he was developing pure carbonated drinks, the phone calls from two friends changed his fate. Don't develop your carbonated drinks any more; vinegar drinks are popular these days. It turned out that when a national leader visited Zhanjiang, he chose Sprite blended with vinegar, a novel drinking method, and vinegar drinks were all the rage for a time. Bobby Chen went to the market and made a survey. He found that everyone blended vinegar and sprite directly, but there was no ready-made vinegar drink. Immediately, he made a bold decision to produce vinegar drinks immediately. Thus, 1997, China's first vinegar beverage was born in the hands of Bobby Chen.
When Bobby Chen went to the market to buy meat, he decided to "kill pigs". He found that the industry was misunderstood by others. The pork market in Guangzhou is billions a year. Why doesn't anyone expand? With such doubts and the temptation of a huge market, I began to invest. He explained that if he sold computers, he would have to face the competition from tens of billions of enterprises like Lenovo, but he chose to sell pork and still had an advantage over his competitors. He is going to do something big in this profession, for example, he can sell more than a dozen pigs when they sell half a pig. Isn't this the level of Peking University? In 2006, Bobby Chen set up his own pig breeding factory near the junction of Zhanjiang and Guangxi. In 2007, he started to open a pork stall in Guangzhou to sell pork. In just one year, it has developed into the largest pork chain store in Guangzhou and even Guangdong, with "local pigs first".
Even Confucius said that as long as we can make money, we will do menial work, not to mention us mortals.
You must make up your mind to beat yourself. As long as you have the first time, it will be much easier in the future. I wish you an early transcendence.
