I met the professor and his wife by chance. Their wisdom and open-mindedness attracted me and shared their happiness and troubles. Fortunately, my professional knowledge seems to be very helpful, so I volunteered. Here's the thing: the original 79 improved houses are just being expanded, adding kitchens, dining rooms and small bedrooms. Increased the area, but also increased the vision of a better living environment, decided to take this opportunity to decorate the room. The trouble that comes with it is that many old things are accumulated in years of life, so the emotional memory of the past years is concentrated, and we are reluctant to give up. Rich materials in the new century have also flooded into our families with overwhelming advertisements. Items are fragmentary and diverse, but they are indispensable in life. How to arrange them?
Third, the storage space design principles
In order not to be filled with these troubles, we should first clean up all the things in our lives, then classify them, set up storage space as required, straighten out the relationship and put our new life into practice.
The design principles of storage space are as follows: first, simplify items, set up furniture appropriately, and don't make the indoor space feel depressed because of too much furniture. Second, the principle of proximity, try to store the items needed by each functional room in the corresponding room to facilitate daily access, and the items with large volume and weight are stored in the storage room.
Third, reasonably divide the storage space according to the size of the goods. Commonly used items are placed in the middle and lower floors, and items that are out of season or not commonly used are placed on the top floor. The entrance to the original residence is relatively small, and dusty coats, leather shoes, purses, gloves and umbrellas should all have hiding places. On the premise of not destroying the building structure, the porch wall is slightly treated to make a wardrobe, the lower part is used as a shoe cabinet, and the small drawer in the middle can hold sporadic items such as gloves and keys, while the upper part is used to hang clothes and put wallets.

If the items and tableware in the kitchen can be sealed in the cupboard, the food storage will be too particular. The refrigerator can't solve all the food storage problems, such as ginger, onion, garlic, mushrooms, fungus, red dates ... so it is necessary to classify the food, and the corresponding cupboard doors can also be louvered, so that the food will not be moldy due to ventilation.
Because the shops operating modern kitchen facilities display more samples, and because the kitchen area expanded in this design is relatively loose, it is easy to solve the problem, so I won't go into details here.
4.5 The original balcony of the bathroom was expanded into a small bedroom. It is not a big bathroom, but it is necessary to put down an essential washing machine. The owner's hygiene habits have not been completely westernized. In addition to the bathtub, toilet and washbasin, there should also be some plastic pots and buckets in the bathroom. A detachable shelf is made under the washbasin countertop, which can be used to store pots, barrels and other items, as well as washing powder, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, detergent and so on.
4.6 Bedroom The main storage space of the bedroom is the wardrobe, which may be arranged in this way in every family, but most of them have such problems: paying attention to the change of the appearance and shape of the cupboard door, ignoring the practicality inside the door, and the internal compartment is relatively random, which leads to the confusion of clothes storage.
Clothes in the wardrobe can be divided into bedding and personal clothes (men and women): the former is small and easy to place; The latter is very troublesome to store because it contains suits, coats, ties, socks and scarves. And the clothes that should be hung on the hanger should be separated from the foldable clothes; Men and women should be separated: pants, skirts and tops should be separated; Ties, scarves and silk scarves should be separated; Clothing in different seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter should be separated ... this will require many compartments and drawers.
