Good morning. My name is * * *, * class. The topic of my thesis is "The Influence of Thinking Differences between English and Chinese on English Writing". The thesis was completed under the guidance of teacher * *, and I would like to express my deep gratitude to my teacher and heartfelt thanks to the judges who worked tirelessly to participate in my thesis.

Below I will report to the teacher on the purpose and main contents of writing this paper:

This paper focuses on comparing the differences between Chinese and Western ways of thinking, and discusses their differences in English writing in terms of vocabulary, sentence structure, paragraph structure and text organization. It is hoped that through comparative analysis, we can help us get rid of the influence of Chinese thinking habits more consciously in English writing, make plans according to English thinking habits, and write authentic English articles.

Specifically, my thesis is divided into the following five parts:

The first part briefly introduces the present situation and problems of Chinese students' English writing thinking, and the meaning of language;

The second part discusses the characteristics of English language thinking.

The third part, from the word, sentence structure, paragraph structure and text structure, analyzes the different manifestations of Chinese and English thinking differences and their influence on writing.

The fourth part, based on the comparative analysis of the differences between Chinese and English thinking patterns in English writing, gives me some enlightenment.

The fifth part of the paper is a brief summary of the full text.

In the process of writing my thesis, I became more and more aware of my lack of knowledge and experience. Although I try to collect information and write my thesis with my own knowledge, there are still many shortcomings and many areas that need to be improved.
