There are honorifics, modesty and exhortation. Courtesy means holding the mood of respecting each other. This paper discusses the relationship between etiquette and honorifics based on previous studies. Through this paper, I think it can make the use of Japanese honorifics more detailed and deepen the understanding of Japanese society.
