How to write a review
Foreign affairs review, military reviews, stock market reviews, sports reviews and literary reviews are all reviews. Take literature review as an example:

1, the format of literature review

Generally, it consists of four parts: preface, text, summary and references. When writing a literature review, you can write an outline according to these four parts, and then write according to the outline.

2. Preface

The preface should use concise words to explain the purpose and necessity of writing, the definition of related concepts, the scope of summary, the present situation and trend of related issues, and the focus of current major issues.

3. Text

Text is the focus of review, and writing has no fixed format, which requires comprehensive content and can take various forms.

The text mainly includes two parts: argumentation and argumentation. By asking questions, analyzing and solving problems, we can compare different scholars' views on the same problem and their theoretical basis, and further clarify the context of the problem and the author's own views. The author can also put forward different views from the historical background, present situation and development direction of the problem.

4. Summary

It is a brief summary of the subject of comment. The author should make a comprehensive evaluation of various viewpoints, put forward his own views, and point out the existing problems and the direction and prospect of future development. A simple summary can also be omitted.

Step 5 refer to

References are an important part of the review. The number of references can reflect the breadth and depth of the author's reading. Different magazines have different requirements on the number of references for review papers, and it is appropriate to have less than 30 articles, mainly the latest documents in the last three years.

Extended data

Precautions:

1. When writing a summary, you should deeply understand the connotation of the reference, be faithful to the original, let the facts speak for themselves, and at the same time have your own opinions.

2. Literature is the basis of review, and consulting literature is the key step in writing review. When collecting documents, we should pay attention to timeliness, and try to be new documents in the last three years. Generally, the information four or five years ago should not contain too much.

3. The content of the summary should not be comprehensive, but should be a browsing summary. The more concentrated, clear and specific the content of the review, the better.

4. References must be the original texts that have been read directly, and cannot be quoted according to the abstracts of some articles, let alone indirectly (referring to reading the documents quoted in an article and copying them without finding the original texts), so as to avoid misunderstanding or misinterpretation of the documents, resulting in errors in viewpoints and methods.

5. Don't list a lot of piled articles. The purpose of literature review is not to show the understanding of other related studies, nor is it a list of reading experiences.

6, don't selectively explore the literature, to systematically review the existing research literature, find out the problems suitable for research or predictable assumptions.

7. Don't use too absolute words to express your opinions, such as "I have read all the documents in this field" and "the latest and most comprehensive".
