Yanta Yanta, located in the southern suburb of Jionji, is a famous ancient building in China and is regarded as a symbol of the ancient capital Xi 'an. According to legend, it is the place where Tang Priest specialized in translation and Buddhist scriptures after learning from India (ancient India). It is named Wild Goose Pagoda because it imitates the architecture of Indian Wild Goose Pagoda. Because a smaller Wild Goose Pagoda was later built in Zhaocai Temple in Chang 'an, for the sake of distinction, people called it Ci 'en Temple Pagoda and Zhaocai Temple Pagoda as Little Wild Goose Pagoda, which has been passed down to this day. The goose is square and built on a base about 45 meters inside and about 5 meters high. The tower has seven floors, with a side length of 25 meters and an elevation of 64 meters from the ground to the top of the tower. The tower is made of brick and stone, and the polished tiles attached together are extremely strong. There are stairs in the tower, so you can spiral up. There is a bridge entrance on the left and right, and you can lean against the railing and look into the distance. Changan style has a panoramic view. There are stone gates on the first floor around the tower, and there are thin lines engraved with Buddha statues on the mast, which is said to be the handwriting of Yan, a great painter in the Tang Dynasty. In the brick niches on both sides of the south gate of the tower, there are two stone tablets, namely, Preface to the Great Tang Monk's Holy Teaching by the Calligrapher of the Four Jiabing in the Early Tang Dynasty and Preface to the Sanzang Holy Teaching. After the end of the Tang Dynasty, temples were repeatedly hit by wars and palaces were burned down.
