In the field investigation stage, we first divided Yuhua District, Gulou District, Jiangning District and Liuhe District of Nanjing into communities, parks, leisure squares and other places, assigned different team members to each different area, and issued targeted questionnaires. During this period, combined with the problems in the actual investigation, we also revised and improved the questionnaire in time, so as to better complete our project research and draw more accurate conclusions. From the 300 questionnaires collected, using statistical methods, we accurately analyzed the following conclusions:
Among them, 35.3% people get pets by giving them away, and 45.7% people go to professional pet shops to buy them. Throughout western society, this phenomenon is also an inevitable trend, not passively accepted, but actively bred. Nowadays, more and more people participate in the team of pet owners, and people are more and more willing to spend time and energy to take care of him. 62.5% of pet owners are unmarried and 75% are women. Among them, 77.5% people will buy toys and clothes for their pets. As a result, various pet hospitals and pet shops have emerged, and in the past seven or eight years, they have grown almost geometrically. Pet food accounts for 75% of the consumption in the pet industry, and the consumption of pet beauty and toys is as high as 8 1%. Of course, this is inseparable from the improvement of people's living standards. Through investigation, we found that 57% of pet owners earn between 2000 and 5000 yuan a month. In fact, it is not difficult to explain that when people's food and clothing are initially satisfied, people have leisure to pursue spiritual prosperity.
Among all kinds of pets, pet dogs account for 62.5%, followed by pet cats. Demand determines production, and the services and commodities for pet dogs in the market are much more comprehensive than other pets. At the same time, we also found that people with higher incomes are more likely to send their pets to beauty shops. Most of the pets kept by these people are good breeds, often some famous breeds, so they will spend more money on pets. Generally speaking, 22.5% people think that the price of pet products they are most satisfied with is between 100-500, and 72% of them earn 5,000-8,000 yuan a month. 75% people think that the best price of pet products should be below 100 yuan, among which 57% people with monthly income between 2000 and 5000 yuan account for the total number of people surveyed, and they usually prefer to choose pet products below 100 yuan. In pet shops, we often find that the pet products they sell are usually well-known brands in the market, such as Royal 35%, Aibei 27.5%, and some imported foreign brands account for 25%. According to the survey, for people who are new to the pet army, choosing familiar brands means quality assurance, and they are more willing to spend more money to buy a psychological peace of mind. When choosing pet products, 90% people will pay attention to quality, with price accounting for about 60% and brand accounting for 35%. At the same time, more single unmarried people (62.5%) prefer to send their pets to pet shops because they have to work during the day and can't take care of them. Therefore, most pet shops are located near residential areas. 80% people think that the number of pet shops around their residence can meet the demand. For families with a monthly income of about 2,000 yuan, people seldom groom and change their pets' appliances regularly, and 90% of them are worn out or replaced after use. 80.5% of people said that they usually pay attention to the information about pet products published by online media such as Weibo and WeChat, and 90% of people know about pet products through the Internet. From the above survey results and statistics, we can easily see that there are huge business opportunities in the pet market. In the future development, the types, shapes and functions of pet products will develop in an intelligent, scientific and humanized direction.
