Also known as Bowen Ancient Village, it is located at the back of Shimen Waterfall in Shimendong National AAAA Scenic Area, and is famous for Liu Bowen, the founding hero of the Ming Dynasty, studying here.

Surrounded by green hills in the ancient village, a lake and clear water flow in front of the village, forming a spatial pattern of mountains and rivers, which is named after Liu Ji's frequent visit to Shimen College. It is an important place for Liu Ji's cultural tour. The village was once rated as "China Beautiful Leisure Village" by the Ministry of Agriculture.

The ancient buildings with blue tiles and white walls, and today's villages are full of Ming-style ancient buildings and villages. The houses in the village are built on the mountain, strewn at random, with towering old trees, rippling blue waves and idyllic scenery, just like people entering a paradise, which is a characteristic village of tourism and farmhouse music in Zhejiang Province.

Bowen Ancient Village is the second stop of Liuji Cultural Tour in Shimendong Scenic Area, which is rich in human landscape resources. There are Tai Chi Lake, Bowen Square, Sanlitang, Bowen Legend Exhibition Hall, Farming Culture Exhibition Hall, Sesame Cake Pavilion, Farming Terrace, Dianjiangtai, Bagua Pagoda, Bowen Ancient Tree and other major attractions.

The 46 residential buildings in the village are all in antique architectural style, forming an ancient village with "patchwork, distinctive features and picturesque scenery", which is integrated with Liuji cultural attractions all over the village and complements each other.

Northeast village is a typical landscape eco-tourism area with beautiful natural scenery, rich cultural attractions, good ecological environment and suitable climate. In terms of natural landscape, there are Menqian Mountain, Lion Mountain, ancient trees, patches of vegetation forest land, terraces and so on. The mountains are undulating and patchwork, surrounded by water, and the landscape is unique; In terms of human landscape, there are ancient villages, ancient buildings, Liu Ji ancestral hall, memorial archway and Yanwutai cultural site. Mountains, water, villages, buildings and terraces are very harmonious and integrated.

Shimendong Scenic Area near Dongbei Village is especially worth visiting. Linjiang flag drum is located on the north bank of Oujiang River. It is two peaks, which are opposite like doors, so it is called "Shimen". There are many allusions, legends and relics left by Xie Lingyun, Liu Ji and Chen Cheng. There are ancient cultural deposits such as quaint mountain villages, deep ancient temples and towering Taoist temples; There are even more amazing waterfalls; It is the most famous must-see attraction in Qingtian.
