1994- 1995 studied cultural anthropology at Ateneo University in the Philippines.
Courses such as cultural anthropology, political anthropology, selected readings of cultural anthropology, and the history and culture of She nationality are offered for undergraduates and graduate students.
Mainly engaged in political anthropology, southeast ethnic history and southeast Han community research.
Responsible for the research of the national social science fund project "Study on the Origin and Development History of She Nationality" and the social science planning project of Fujian Province "Study on Sublation of Rural Culture"
Research work, published more than 30 papers in domestic academic journals such as Sinology, Foreign Social Sciences, Xinhua Digest and Journal of Xiamen University.
Monographs include Political Anthropology (1999) and Rural Covenant in Ming and Qing Dynasties: Theoretical Evolution and Practical Development (2008). Among them, Political Anthropology won the Fourth Society of Fujian Province.
The third prize of outstanding achievements in social sciences, and the second prize of the fifth excellent textbook academic monograph of East China University Press.
