Introduction:

Zhang Meilin, Dean of Art College of Yangzhou University, Professor, Master of Vocal Music. 1980 studied vocal music from Mr. Li of Nanjing Art Institute, and 1987 graduated from Nanjing Art Institute majoring in vocal performance. From 65438 to 0995, he went to the Central Conservatory of Music for postgraduate study, studied under Professor Li Xinchang, and obtained a master's degree in vocal performance. In 2000, he won the third prize of professional bel canto in the 7th National TV Grand Prix for Young Singers. 200 1 was selected by "International Vocal Music Master Class" and sent to Hungary and Austria National Opera Graduate School for study. He paid attention to academic research and published papers such as Cultural Status and Artistic Features of Yangzhou Folk Songs, Textual Research on Fishing Songs and Development of Yangzhou Folk Songs from the Perspective of Italian Bel Canto. In China Musicology, People's Music, China Music, Hundred Artists, Journal of Yangzhou University, Qilu Art Garden, Journal of Nanjing Art College and many other academic journals. There are more than 20 articles, such as Puzzlement and Reform of Vocal Music Teaching, Points, Lines and Aspects of Vocal Music Teaching, and Reaching Non-verbal Realm-the Artistic Core of Aesthetic Education.

In 2003, he published his solo album "Golden Tenor"-Zhang Meilin's No Sleep Tonight.
