Hua
The original name is Hua, which is his nickname. Born in July 1893, died in February 1950. When A Bing was in his twenties, he suffered from eye diseases and his father died. He was poor and ill, his eye diseases worsened, and his eyes went blind one after another. From then on, people called him blind A Bing.
I studied music with my father Hua since childhood. Chinese Taoist priests are recognized as wizards in the local Taoist music scene. A Bing's musical achievements were originally based on Taoist music and family heirlooms. Taoist music is mostly non-religious folk music, and many of them are unchanging folk songs. After A Bing's eyes changed, he was not welcomed by the rich vegetarian, so he had to leave this door and start singing for a living. In Wuxi, a person wearing sunglasses, with sheng, flute, pipa and other musical instruments hanging on his chest and back, and a huqin in his hand, is A Bing.
A Bing lives purely by singing. He never seemed to beg for mercy. He struggled in darkness and poverty for decades. His feelings about the painful life are reflected in his music, not because of the hardships and hardships of life. On the contrary, his music reveals a healthy and deep breath from the bottom of the people. A Bing condensed his life into immortal works, such as Two Springs Reflecting the Moon. After liberation, when the people's government sent people to care about him and arrange his music works, he couldn't get what he wanted and suddenly vomited blood and died.
A Bing * * * left three erhu works, such as Two Springs Reflecting the Moon, Listening to Pines and Cold Spring Breeze, and three pipa works, such as Big Waves and Sand Washing, Dragon Boat and Zhaojun's Sailing. Among them, Two Springs Reflecting the Moon won the 20th Century Chinese Classical Music Award.
Two Springs Reflecting the Moon: Wuxi Huishan Er Quan enjoys the reputation of "the second spring in the world" and is a place that A Bing often goes to. He didn't play the song "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon" until he was blind. This song described the beautiful scenery he witnessed in the old society with the image of music, but what he felt at that time was darkness, which made him always reveal a sad mood in the melodious melody.
Listening to music: Music describes the story of Yue Fei, a great patriotic general in Song Dynasty, who led the volunteer staff sergeant in the Great Patriotic War. In the middle of this song, A Bing pinned his feelings for War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory. Music has a distinct and strong personality, and the introduction is broad and grand. The first, second and third paragraphs are full of extraordinary artistic conception and structure, which successfully express the courage of struggle and the assurance of victory. A Bing used the old and middle strings on the erhu, and the sound was very strong.
Cold Spring Breeze: This is another erhu song by A Bing. I said that the tone of Sanskrit is lost in Taoism, and Mr. Yang's research results are his own work. From the title of the song, it describes the cold wind blowing in spring, and from the music itself, people feel the heavy sigh of depression and the infinite yearning for light.
Big waves wash sand: According to A Bing before his death, this piece was originally an ensemble of Taoist Sanskrit, and he played it on the pipa, adding pipa skills. This song was recorded by Mr. Yang, Mr. Cao An and Mr. Cao An. The structure of the music is compact, * * * is divided into three sections, and the musical mood develops from the initial deep sadness to lively and powerful, and finally ends with optimistic and confident music.
Dragon Boat: Originally a popular pipa tune. The performance of pipa in the music is to imitate the drums and songs on the dragon boat during the Dragon Boat Festival folk competition. At the beginning is a model drum, and in the middle is a drama fragment. Each paragraph is a folk song or instrumental tune, and there is a part that imitates the Luo drum between paragraphs.
Zhao Jun's Embarrassment: This is a pipa music handed down by his father Hua, and there is no similarity with Zhao Jun's resentment and Song of the fortress.
Liu Tianhua
Liu Tianhua is a composer and performer of national instrumental music. His creative activities coincided with the beginning of this century, and a group of people of insight rushed to popularize music education and develop and revitalize national music. Liu Tianhua has a wide knowledge of music. He was exposed to wind instruments in a military band since childhood, and later learned erhu, pipa and various folk music instruments from others. 65438-0922, while teaching in Beijing Institute of Art, also studied violin and composition theory from foreign musicians, and did a lot of folk music arrangement.
Liu Tianhua's contribution to China music mainly lies in the creation of national instrumental music. He composed 7 erhu music, 47 erhu etudes, 3 pipa music and 15 pipa etudes. He promoted erhu, the most popular national musical instrument in China, from accompaniment to solo. Moreover, the introduction of this instrument into the teaching of colleges and universities and the establishment of erhu specialty have laid an important foundation for the position and development of erhu in China's national instrumental music.
Because of his thorough understanding of inter-ethnic music, his music has distinctive national characteristics in theme conception, melody composition and structural arrangement. Because of his strong points in western music, he used it to help develop our national music. He Zhanhao
Zhan Hao has a motto in his music creation: "Nationalization of foreign forms and modernization of national music". All his works during his 40-odd years of composing career were mainly "nationalization of foreign forms" in the first 20 years. After cooperating with classmate Chen Gang 1959, Liang Zhu became famous at home and abroad, and his creative enthusiasm was high. He created the string quartet Diary of a Martyr and String and Choir Don't Forget the Past. The symphonic poem Longhua Pagoda and other large-scale instrumental vocal works have come out one after another. The works of this period not only pay attention to drama and lyricism, but also have a strong national style.
After 1980s, He Zhanhao took the modernization of national music as its goal. In addition to adapting Butterfly Lovers into Gao Hu Concerto and Pipa Concerto, he also composed Erhu Concerto Gone with the Times and Farewell, Erhu and Fantasia of Mo Chounv, as well as national orchestral music Ili River, Festival Horse Racing, Scenery of Dai Village and Guzheng Concerto Southeast Peacock. In the 1990s, I was delighted to see a large number of new guzheng players. In addition to adapting Liangzhu into a guzheng concerto, he also created a guzheng concerto "Legacy of Lin 'an". "The King of the West Chu" and guzheng solos Jasmine Fragrance and Sisters Song also adapted traditional music "Fish High" and "Moonlit Night on the Spring River". In addition, he also composed flute concerto Endless Sorrow, Liu concerto Flowers and dulcimer concerto Love of Roland, and created large-scale works almost every year. In many aspects, such as the innovation of national music language, the improvement of national instrumental music performance skills, and the expansion of national music performance scope, he has made very beneficial explorations.
He Zhanhao called himself an "explorer": "Since it is" exploration ",there are successes and failures, and either one can bring experiences and lessons to future generations." His support for the younger generation is well known in the circle. The unknown erhu rookie at that time is now a famous erhu player at home and abroad. The letter urging He Laoshi to help young people has so far made He sigh, "Without the support of professors such as Ding Shande and others, there would be no today." Today, licensing and Ma Xiaohui have become famous; Erhu player Shao Lin and guzheng player Luo Xiaoci also stood out. These performers are more or less attached to the premiere of He's new work.
"It's a long way, but this is Xiu Yuan." He Zhanhao said that exploration is his eternal theme, and he will continue as long as people like it.
Xie Gongcheng
There are usually two ways for composers to adapt and handle folk songs. One is to use folk songs as the material for melody development; First, the original skeleton of folk songs is preserved, and multi-voice processing is carried out, such as rewriting the whole song or piano accompaniment, so as to enhance its artistry and enrich its expression connotation.
One of Xie Gongcheng's representative works is the chorus Aramu Han Mu. This was adapted from 65438 to 0948 when he was in Hong Kong. The choir is well-known at home and abroad for its rich chorus effect, vivid musical image and skillful chorus writing skills, and it is still a reserved program for professional and amateur choirs until today.
Xie Gongcheng's Chorus Lyrics of the Yangtze River (Pingping Ci) written on 1955 is a work with high professional skills and deep musical expression. The second movement "White Sail" was widely praised as early as 1956 National Music Week, and later the whole song was dedicated as a gift to the 10th anniversary of the National Day. While actively reflecting the life of the times, this work emphasizes the aesthetic value of the artistic subject and breaks through the requirements of artistic utilitarianism prevailing in the late 1950s. Today, this work still has its outstanding artistic achievements.
Lyrics The Yangtze River has a magnificent and passionate first movement, a graceful and profound second movement, a white sail, a lively and scherzo rainbow, a magical and ethereal fourth movement goddess, and a passionate fifth movement, the Yangtze River, you are mighty.
The composer's new works in recent years include chorus "Qinglanlun River" and so on.
Xie Gongcheng is also a music educator. Since the founding of the People's Republic of China, she has been mainly engaged in the theoretical teaching of composition technology in the Conservatory of Music. Ling has written papers such as Chorus Writing Skills (co-authored with Zeng Lizhong) and On the Same Palace (co-authored with Zeng Lizhong), and edited and participated in the Self-taught Music Series (Composition Volume) published by People's Music Publishing House.
