Abstract: Nowadays, many college students are under pressure, both academically and emotionally. And too much pressure will make college students go to extremes. Whether college students can properly manage their emotions not only affects their physical and mental health, but also affects whether they can complete their study tasks with high quality and efficiency and have harmonious interpersonal relationships. Starting with the meaning of emotion, this paper discusses the meaning of emotional management, the characteristics of college students' emotions, the significance and strategies of college students' emotional management.

Emotion is people's intuitive feeling of objective existence, whether happy or sad, or helpless, which directly or indirectly becomes people's motivation to do things and is a necessary psychological movement process.

Society is made up of countless individuals, and college students are one of them. Only by promoting the harmonious development of individuals and society can individual self-worth be perfectly realized; On the other hand, it will make the individual's self-worth not well realized, or even impossible to realize.
Third, the strategy of college students' emotional management
(1) Create a good campus atmosphere and a good school education environment.
