1. Open the word document that needs to be referenced, and use the mouse to point to the position where comments need to be added.
2. Click on the reference tab, and click on the footnotes and endnotes.
3. In the settings box of the pop-up footnote and endnote, check the endnote, check the square bracket style of the format, apply the changes and set it as the whole document, and then click Insert.
4. After clicking Insert, insert a superscript "[1]" here, and the cursor will automatically jump to the end of the article, which is preceded by a superscript "[1]", which is where the first reference is entered.
5. Next, just click Insert Endnote under the Citation tab to add other references.
