Huangshan Tunxi Airport is located in Tunxi District of Huangshan City, also known as Tunxi Airport. Built in 1958. In June 2008, with the approval of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Huangshan Airport was successfully upgraded from 4C Airport to 4D Airport, and the upgraded Huangshan Airport can take off and land large and medium-sized aircraft below B757-300. 1999, Huangshan Airport was named "Civilized Airport" by East China Administration of Civil Aviation. On June 30th, 20 14, the National Civil Aviation Administration approved the renaming of Huangshan Tunxi Airport as Huangshan Tunxi International Airport. Huangshan Airport became the 20th prefecture-level airport in China.

The oil supply system consists of two parts: airport oil depot and transit oil depot. There are three 1000 cubic meters vertical oil tanks in the airport oil depot, and there are special trains to transport oil. The airport has 20 department-level units under its jurisdiction. Among them, the navigation department can provide the flight technical data of this station, the meteorological data service and flight command service of this flight and route; The ground service department provides maintenance services for McDonnell Douglas 90, Airbus 320, Boeing 737, BAE- 146, ATR-72, CRJ, Saab -340, Yun -7, DH4 and Tang -328. The navigation department provides flight navigation and communication services; Public security sub-bureaus and security checkpoints effectively maintain airport security management and air defense safety; Passenger and freight companies provide passenger and freight sales agency services, with sales outlets covering Huangshan City and surrounding towns, initially forming an air passenger and freight sales network; The terminal, Blue Sky Industrial Company, aviation food company, motorcade and air travel agency provide services such as food, accommodation, transportation, travel and entertainment for Chinese and foreign travelers and airlines.
