In the changes brought about by the new curriculum reform, the changes of teachers are also part of it. Nowadays, teachers' responsibilities are more and more to stimulate thinking, guide and shape students' development. As the front-line users of the new curriculum reform, physical education teachers have an important influence in the curriculum reform. Therefore, it is necessary to study the problems existing in high school physical education under the new curriculum reform, starting with high school physical education teachers. Below we will focus on these problems and solutions.

First, the new curriculum reform in high school physical education problems

1. Students' enthusiasm for learning physical education class is not high. Physical education in senior high school is more about making students form the good habit of regular physical exercise, and at the same time, it is also to enhance students' physical quality and relax themselves under the heavy study pressure in senior high school. But in fact, most of the current high school physical education textbooks focus on cultivating students' special skills, and rarely mention students' own interests. At the same time, the traditional teaching of physical education teachers can not stimulate students' interest in physical education. Therefore, such courses can easily make students feel bored, leading to the failure of physical education teaching in senior high schools. 2. Students' sports level is unbalanced. Due to the difficulty of different physical education subjects or students' own preferences, some students only choose the same subject in the physical education curriculum in senior high school, so the advantages of the new curriculum reform have not been fully exerted, and the students' own physical education level has not been balanced. Due to the different physical education quality levels in teaching, physical education teaching has been greatly troubled. 3. Students' physical development is very different. Under normal circumstances, there will be some differences between students, but now the gap between students' physique and sports skills is getting bigger and bigger, and many girls and some boys can't reach the normal level in some courses. For example, judging from the results of the 800-meter run, there are fast and slow. But many people don't take part in running because their physical fitness doesn't allow it. After this happens, there will be two kinds of negative effects with different causes but the same result. One is that the enthusiasm of students who can't run is reduced, and the other is that students who can run want to rest like them, and the enthusiasm of the same exercise is reduced. 4. Students' PE study is very passive. The teaching of physical education teachers in senior high schools basically focuses on the direct teaching of skills, ignoring the knowledge and principles of skills. Students only passively learn skills with teachers, but they may know nothing about skills, which can't arouse students' thinking and tap their potential. 5. The evaluation result is objective. As mentioned above, there are differences among students. Although some students have good physical fitness and other assessment items can be completed, they can't achieve qualified results in the long jump anyway. Other students may practice running every day for the 800-meter exam, but the result is still unqualified. As the only participant, teachers generally only evaluate students according to their grades, while all students are evaluated by unified standards. This result is objective. Although the evaluation standard is reasonable, for students themselves, this single evaluation method will hinder their progress, hit their self-esteem and self-confidence, and affect their physical and mental health.

Second, measures to solve the above problems

1. Cultivate students' interest in sports. The great scientist Einstein once said, "Interest is the best teacher." In order to improve students' enthusiasm for learning sports, it is necessary to improve students' interest in sports in physical education teaching. It can be said that students' interest in physical education class is the prerequisite for the success of physical education teaching. Because only in this way can students have a strong thirst for knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary for physical education teachers to improve teaching methods, make the class as lively and interesting as possible, and make students change from passively accepting knowledge to actively exploring and learning, so as to truly achieve the teaching purpose. 2. Optimization of physical education curriculum. According to the requirements of the new curriculum reform, teachers should customize the appropriate teaching form and content according to the actual situation of students. Because there are many physical education courses in senior high school, some courses are difficult, so teachers and students can discuss with each other and modify the teaching content appropriately and reasonably. At the same time, teachers can often communicate with students about the contents of teaching courses, so as to unify the courses with students' interests, ensure that students can participate in their favorite physical education courses, and finally improve the effect of physical education teaching. 3. Improve their own level and change their teaching concepts. Senior high school PE teachers should study professional knowledge hard, improve their professional quality, enhance their sense of sports responsibility and respect their own education. At the same time, we should be good at discovering, questioning and improving problems, constantly innovating teaching methods, perfecting teaching contents, and gradually enriching ourselves to become excellent teachers with reflective and research abilities. Teachers should communicate frequently, learn from others' excellent teaching experience, make progress together, keep up with the pace of school physical education reform and improve students' physical quality in an all-round way. 4. Strengthen practical teaching and improve students' initiative. Practice teaching can better improve students' comprehensive ability. It is necessary to strengthen practical teaching, give students the initiative and fully mobilize their subjective initiative. In this process, teachers should only act as guides. For example, let students organize their own competitions, participate in the selection of players and referees, and choose and analyze tactics. Or let the students arrange their own warm-up exercises. After the experience, they can try to talk about their feelings against the routine warm-up exercise. 5. Improve the evaluation method. For the results of students' physical education learning, we should use various forms to evaluate the learning of physical education class curriculum. Teachers should not be the only participants, students themselves, classmates and parents should all participate in the evaluation of students. The evaluation of academic performance should not only pay attention to students' academic performance, but also refer to their comprehensive ability. Moreover, the purpose of evaluation is not to be "good" or "bad", but to cultivate students' self-esteem and self-confidence, so that students can know their own advantages and disadvantages and improve themselves. Therefore, good evaluation methods and contents are conducive to the cultivation of students' sports spirit, physical exercise habits and the growth of sports consciousness.

To sum up, in high school physical education teaching, teachers should be proactive, student-oriented, proceed from the actual situation of students, be good at finding problems, solving problems in time, and constantly adjust and innovate, so that physical education teaching can play an important role in the new curriculum reform teaching and make students develop physically and mentally. The author thinks that although there are many problems in the implementation of high school physical education in the new curriculum reform, these problems will eventually be solved with the efforts of educators.
