Writing standard of graduation design (thesis)

Graduation design (thesis) is an important link to cultivate students' comprehensive application of basic theory, professional knowledge and basic skills, improve their ability to analyze and solve practical problems, and complete the preliminary training of scientific research and professional engineering and technical work. In order to unify and standardize the writing of graduation design (thesis) in our college and ensure the quality of graduation design (thesis) in our college, according to the Writing Format of Scientific and Technological Reports, Dissertations and Academic Papers of the People's Republic of China (national standard GB77 13-87), the Writing Specification for Graduation Design (Thesis) of Yantai Nanshan College is formulated.

According to the professional characteristics and actual needs, the college can make appropriate adjustments to the graduation design (thesis) structure and writing norms. In the instruction manual, there are corresponding requirements for graduation design and research papers, and students can write according to the requirements of the corresponding items in the instruction manual.

1 content requirements

1. 1 paper title

The title of the paper should be short, clear and general. Through the topic, readers can roughly understand the content, professional characteristics and subject categories of the paper. But the number of words should be appropriate, generally not more than 24 words. Subtitles can be added if necessary.

1.2 Chinese and English abstracts and keywords

1.2. 1 abstract

The abstract of a thesis should generally reflect the purpose, content, methods, achievements and conclusions of the graduation project (thesis). Formulas and charts should not be used, and reference numbers should not be marked. Chinese abstracts are generally 300 ~ 500 words.

1.2.2 Keywords

Keywords are the subject terms of retrieval, and general technical terms that can cover the main contents of the paper should be adopted (refer to the corresponding technical terminology standards). Generally, there are 3 ~ 5 keywords, arranged according to the expansion level of the entry (expanded to the first).

1.3 directory

The catalogue is compiled by chapter, section and article titles, and the title level is clear. The title in the table of contents should be consistent with the title in the text. The content should include introduction, main body of the paper, conclusion, thanks, references and appendix.

The main body of the thesis is the main body and core part of the graduation project (thesis), which should generally include introduction, the main body of the thesis and conclusion.
