Most resume writing books published in Hong Kong require information such as "age" and "marital status". The job advertisements in Hong Kong newspapers also require job seekers to write comparable information such as "salary status" and "expected salary", hoping to recruit a "long-term worker who eats less and works more" as a son-in-law. In fact, these are all privacy issues, and American resumes do not require such information. If there is a frame of reference for popular Chinese resumes in China, it should refer to Hong Kong style. British resume is very close to Hong Kong resume, but personal information is not as much as Hong Kong resume. It is very long, with many pages, but it is not detailed.
