The Historical Origin of Qin Antao
According to Qin 'an County Records, Qin 'an peach was widely cultivated as early as the Han Dynasty. During the Tang and Song Dynasties, "Tao Qi", "Gorpeach" and "Tao Qiu" were famous for their big size, bright colors and delicious taste. According to legend, when Li Shimin was ill, Emperor Taizong wanted to eat peaches from his hometown, so he sent messengers to Qin 'an to pick them. From then on, Qin Antao was regarded as a tribute of the imperial court and became famous all over the world.

During the Northern Song Dynasty, there was a saying in Qin 'an, and there was a Taohua River ten miles north of the city. Long-term cultivation of peaches has formed tens of thousands of acres of peach gardens with a total length of more than 30 kilometers from Miaozui Village in Xingguo Town to Shaozui Village in Guojia Town in Hulu River Basin. Every spring, peach blossoms compete with each other and are full of fragrance.
