What is the origin of the three demons of the lion camel bell in The Journey to the West?
In the Journey to the West, Tang Priest and his disciples met three monsters in Lion Tuoling, namely the eldest green-haired lion monster, the second yellow-toothed lion, and the third Dapeng golden-winged bird.

So what skills do these three monsters have?

Lion monster: It has a big mouth and can swallow 100,000 heavenly soldiers in one bite.

Yellow tooth elephant essence: long nose, which can directly sweep the opponent in battle.

Dapeng golden-winged bird: With long wings, it can stir up strong winds and take people away.

What are the backgrounds of these three monsters?

At the beginning of this lion camel bell, Taibai Venus turns into an old man, reminding Tang and his disciples that there are monsters with great history on this mountain, so we can make a detour. Wukong doesn't believe it. He thought: Is there a monster with more roots than my old grandson? He doesn't care what Venus Taibai said. Who knows, the origin of this monster is too great, and then I had to ask the Buddha to come forward to solve it.

Green-haired lion monster: According to legend, this green-haired lion monster was originally the mount of Manjusri Bodhisattva, and stole the mortal world after becoming a fine creature. His weapon is a bright steel knife, and his skill is to swallow people with one bite and hundreds of heavenly soldiers with one bite. So when fighting with Wukong, he swallowed Wukong confidently. I didn't expect Wukong to be such a master that he could somersault in his stomach that the green-haired lion begged for mercy. Later, Manjusri Bodhisattva was ordered by the Tathagata to go down the mountain to receive him.

Old elephant with yellow teeth is fine: it was originally the mount of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, but it is really a six-toothed white elephant. He also secretly descended to the world after becoming a fine man, and became brothers with the green-haired lion monster and the golden-winged Dapeng carving, ranking second, thinking of catching the Tang Priest with other monsters and seeking immortality. When this old elephant fights, it's best to roll people with its nose. When it fights with the Monkey King and Pig Bajie, it rolls the Monkey King with its nose. Later, following Pig's advice, the Monkey King stabbed the yellow-toothed elephant in the nose with a golden hoop and escaped. Finally, it was taken back by Bodhisattva Samantabhadra.

Dapeng Golden Winged Bird: He is the oldest of the three monsters, claiming to be the uncle of the Buddha, so Wukong can only ask the Buddha for confirmation. Tathagata said, when heaven and earth first opened, the phoenix gave birth to peacocks and Dapeng gave birth. Who knows this peacock likes to eat people, accidentally ate the Buddha, and the Buddha broke his back, thinking of hurting the peacock. But other Buddhas said that if you hurt her, it is equivalent to hurting her mother, so the peacock got the title of Daming King, the mother peacock, and Dapeng is her brother and sister, so this Dapeng can be called Uncle Buddha.

This is not true. Venus on Taibai really reminded me that the origin of monsters is really great, and Buddha also admitted that he did bring relatives. As for why the biggest Dapeng was Lao San at first, it may be because he joined the lion camel bell organization at the latest.
