Joseph Louis Gay-Lussac, French chemist. 1778 was born in St. Leonard on February 6th, and 1850 died in Paris on May 9th. From 65438 to 0797, he entered the technical school in Paris. /kloc-graduated from 0/800, and French chemist C.-L. Berthollet asked him to be an assistant in his private laboratory. From 65438 to 0802, he worked as a tutor at the Polytechnic Institute in Paris, and later as a professor of chemistry. 1806 was elected as an academician of French Academy of Sciences. 1809 Professor of Physics, University of Paris. 1832 Professor of Chemistry, French Museum of Natural History.
