Zhejiang University is an institution of higher learning with a long history and outstanding reputation, located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city and a scenic tourist attraction in China. Qiushi College, the predecessor of Zhejiang University, was founded in 1897. It is one of the earliest new institutions of higher learning founded by the people of China. 1928, named National Zhejiang University. Fujian Normal University is a university jointly established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is one of the earliest normal universities in China.
