Wang Weiqing was born in 1954 and graduated from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1978. He studied under famous painters such as Sun Qifeng, Pu Zuo and Huo Chunyang in China, and teachers such as Yan Lichuan, Wang Xuezhong, Liang Qi and Zhang Shijian. After graduation, I have been engaged in art design and Art editor for a long time, and I am good at freehand flower-and-bird painting, especially ink bamboo and plum blossom. Over the years, in order to collect creative materials and experience life, I visited Huangshan, Laoshan, Emei, Jiuhuashan, Taishan, Guilin, Liuzhou, Guangzhou, Dalian, Yantai, Qingdao, Suzhou and Hangzhou and other famous mountains and rivers, sketched historical sites, felt the aura of nature, and strived to innovate on the basis of inheriting traditions. Wang Weiqing once taught in Tianjin Oriental Art Institute, Maolin Painting and Calligraphy Institute and Tianjin University of Retired Veterans. He is currently a member of Tianjin Branch of China Artists Association, director of Yiyou Painting and Calligraphy Association, vice president and secretary general of Tianjin Lantai Painting and Calligraphy Association, director of Yanhuang Culture Research Association, painter of Tianjin Yanhuang Painting and Calligraphy Institute, vice president of Tianjin Nankai Painting Institute, honorary president of China Dongting Painting and Calligraphy Institute, art consultant of Sichuan Jinshan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, special painter of An Friendship Association, and deputy senior Art editor (associate professor) of Tianjin Archives magazine. He was awarded the title of caring model artist by China Artists Association and other related units. His works were collected by former central leader Wang Dongxing (with photos), and by Japanese art groups, museums and collectors such as Kyoto Prefecture Comprehensive Archives, Jinshan Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Chongqing Celebrity Art Museum, Zhou Deng Memorial Hall and Taihang Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute. Participated in many large-scale auctions and was taken abroad as a gift by the relevant units, which was well received by foreign guests and overseas Chinese. He was awarded the title of "China Contemporary Powerful Painter", "2 1 Century China Famous Painter" and "Contemporary Top 100 Painters", and was awarded the title of "First Contemporary Top 100 Painters" by the Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Artists Qualification Accreditation Committee.
