Qi Baishi (1864- 1957), a native of Xiangtan, Hunan Province, was a master of Chinese painting in the 20th century, one of the top ten painters in the 20th century and a world cultural celebrity. Representative works such as Shrimp, Crab, Peony, Morning Glory, Frog Rings Ten Miles Out of the Mountain Spring, etc.

Zhang Daqian (1899 ~ 1983) and 1899 (twenty-five years of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty) were born in May of 10 (the first day of the fourth lunar month), and were born in a scholarly family in Tang Yan Bay, Xiangbizui, Li Anliang, a suburb of Neijiang County, Sichuan Province. He is the most legendary master of Chinese painting in China in the 20th century. Representative works include Sanzang in Wuzhong, Shi Tao's Landscape, Mei Qing's Landscape, and Maolin Station in Ju Ran.
