Caofeidian area is a municipal district of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, and one of the downtown areas of Tangshan. Caofeidian area was established with the approval of the State Council on July 20 12. Located in the southern coast of Tangshan, with a total area of 1943 square kilometers. It has four functional sectors: Caofeidian Industrial Zone, Nanbao Development Zone, Caofeidian New City and Reclamation Area.
